I really liked Halfway to the Grave, but I don't really have a favourite yet. Am reading Paris Immortal at the moment and halfway through and not even a mention of a vampire even though it is a vampire tale....
I have just finished reading Hex Hall only one vamp but she is cute, I liked it what does everyone else think?
Hex Hall
Hex Hall
Oh that was on my summer reading list, but my list was way too long and it was near the end, and I've really only read 3 of my reading list books so far...
I'd say either Dracula for purists and Lumley's Necroscope series for something more complex and sinister
Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan series is the best I have ever read, she adds action and humor her style of writing is none I have ever experienced before! Def. a must read!
The Undead Heart bt Tate Jackson went on sale today on kindle books for .99, It's usually 12.99 and the sale is only going to last a few days then it's going back to the regular price so if your interested, you better hurry! You don't have to have a kindle handheld to get the book. Amazon has a kindle PC version that you can download for free. It's a great read. Check it out then join our The Undead Heart group! Let your friend know! The book is also really funny! It's not a comedy book but the charater and family arguments are hyserical! You can check out the author site at http://www.theundeadheart.yolasite.com

Here are some of my favorites:Lynsay Sands Argeneau series, P.C Cast The house of night series, Blue Bloods, Dangerous Girls series, Vampire Academy, Evermore Darkyn, Be Still my Vampire Heart.... and more to come yet.
I am going to start the J. R. ward series next ! ITs a vampire series ! I love the True blood series , but favorite is Edward and BElla on Twilight ! CAn't compare !
I really liked John Ajvide Lindqvist'sLet Me In
It made me fall back in love with Vampire books again, after the debacle of Twilight.
I read all the Ann Rice novels and loved them, but for shear terror, Bram Stoker's Dracula will make you want to leave the light on when you go to bed.
I have so many favorites it would be impossible to narrow it down to just one!I love the Saint-Germain series by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro. Been following his adventures for years! I'm also crazy about the Jack Fleming/Vampire Files series by P.N. Elrod.
Also love Vampires in America by D.B. Reynolds. Only four books strong so far, but it's a great series!
Then of course, there are the usual suspects: BDB, Blood Books, Sookie, Carpathians, Midnight Breed, Maker's Song, Argeneau, Love at Stake, Cat & Bones, tons of others...
One favorite? Riiiight...LOL!
I like UNDERWORLD! Anyone heard of it!!!!!! Its a really old movie!!!!!!Twilight is alrite but dosent take my interest much!
I would have to say Twilight; I haven't read the underworld books yet still waiting on them to arrive
Let the Right One In ranks up there as one of my favorites. Racing through another 5* The Hunt by Andrew Fukuda's, though it's far from your typical vampire book.

Wish his next books were as good: Handling the Dead (Zombies) just didn't measure up to what he wrote in Let Me In (also published as Let the Right One In). Am reading his 3rd book, Harbor, which is allegedly Horror -- Amazon calls him the heir to Steven King -- but just started it.
What's do you guys think of the morganville vampires series? I used to really like them, but i'm currently reading the most recent one and I feel like there are so many books in the series that it's just getting boring and repetitive. Does anyone else feel that way?
