I know love can be an annoying topic, but I think it's one of the topics that could be shared and could be kept private. A feeling of the extremes. It can make you feel like you're on cloud 9, and can make you feel like hell when you get broken.

I think this topic should be discussed, knowing how some of us are madly in love, and how some of us need advice in things like this.

So here it is. I made this topic for everyone who wishes to discuss this, and if they have any problems we can all discuss it here. :)

Lol! You're welcome girls! :D

Actually, the advise/help line is in Ask Rain: Advice section.

You can ask help here too if you want, but you can also just talk about it here in general. :)

Rose (iceclaw) | 2069 comments Love help??? Whatever.... I don't need much help, but I do like a guy.

His name is Nick, he's in my grade and he's the cutest, nicest guy in the entire school, and he actually notices me. He's been dating this girl, Catherine, for over a year now. Their anniversary is March 23..........

I get hot just thinking about him!

Keara (kearachristine) Question; why do guys feel the need to take their shirts off at night?

I just got back from a friend's birthday party and we played night games. Quite a few guys were there, and as soon as the sun set, they all took off their shirts and started doing flips and trying out my friend's dad's benchpress.

Not to mention that K joined in and kept coddling L... AND THEN DROPPED A 45 POUND WEIGHT ON MY FOOT! >O<

Why do they feel the need to show off? Nobody except L was impressed, even if it wasn't painful to look at. >_< Most of the guys were pretty damn worked.

Ok, I had to go back to know who you're talking about :P

I've read so many people talking about their love life with using only letters for a person's name that I got confuzzled! :P

But here, lemme tell you this.

1) Most of the girl population enjoy seeing a guy topless... especially ones who are freakin' fit!

2) Boys know it oh so well

3) You may not believe this... but boys can be as vain or even more vain than girls. Trust me...

4) They feel the need to show off when they like someone.

5) They show off to said person or other people so they'd be able to show that person, or people, how great they are so their boyfriend-material status woudl go up.

6) It's a guy's nature to show off

7) If you think showing off is a bad thing, think of it this way. Guys can be cocky, but there is a fine line between being proud and being too conceited. But... what if you were his girlfriend and he likes to show you off? Isn't that a great thing? :D It means he wants the whole world to know that you're his.

8) They like to go topless, not only at night but even the day... depends on their mood, because it feels great! You can feel the air on your skin, and trust me it's a great feeling. Guys can go topless in public because they can... it's one of the things guys can do that we can't... unless you go to a nudist beach... >_< *takes out blindfolds*

9) They also like to go topless because then they won't feel so sticky and icky when they sweat compared to when they wear a shirt whilst sweating.

and 10) They like to go topless, and benchpress and do acrobatic stunts because then they'd know that you'd get to have the opportunity to see their muscles at work. ;)

Now... some of you might ask why I know this.

1) I have a boyfriend
2) I asked guy friends direct questions :D

You should try it sometime. Who's better than giving guy advices than guys themselves, right?

heheheh

Well I admit, sometimes it gets irritating when guys show off. Trust me though, they will grow out of it. The guys in your age group are still in their 'early puberty stage' :P where testosterones are everything.

To be honest, it's not so bad to see a guy topless. I love oggling at mine. :D Especially when he finishes doing his running routine (it's what he does every morning) and when he's gone to play sports (especially soccer) with the guys.

Warning, make sure they shower too. I think hygiene is very important. It's paramount that when they do sweat, the guy should... no... MUST shower.

So many boys have BO and it's absolutely disgusting! Even my bf doesn't know how people cannot shower twice a day and brush their teeth, floss, and or atleast mouthwash!

>_<

I don't like guys who aren't hygienic because I have a very strong sense of smell, and I sort of have a problem with being dirty. Sure I can get my hands dirty in soil, or even washing a baby's bum... that's because I have access to water and soap!

I'm just lucky my man is very hygienic like I am. :D

What about you girls?

Do you think hygiene is a necessity in a guy you'd date?

I want mine to brush his teeth atleast twice a day, he flosses, mouthwash (not necessarily as long as he brushes and flosses), showers atleast once or twice a day, depending when he sweats, shaves (in proper places, not just his face), likes to keep things in order, doesn't mess his place up like a pigsty.

Yup... I'm very picky.

Kimathy haha, as long as a guy does not smell funny, isn't sweaty, brushes his teeth and washes his hair i am fine! :P oh and sweat. i hate that. a sweaty man may as well have rolled in guano.

message 10: by Keara (new)

Keara (kearachristine) Thanks, and yeah, I agree about the showing their girlfriends off.

But it's so irritating. >_<

Hahaha, don't worry Keara. I promise you, their showing off attitude will tone down as they grow older. You're still in the age where the boys your age would have testosterone peaks. :P

Yes it can, Rose. However girl magazines aren't really good for guy advice to be honest, unless of course their profession is to give guy/relationship advice. :D

message 15: by Rose (new)

Rose (iceclaw) | 2069 comments Um.. I was thinking about Cosmo from the Fairly Odd Parents.

In one episode, he was like "LOOK! I'M COOKING BACON WITHOUT A SHIRT ON!"

Rose (iceclaw) | 2069 comments Really? I can't stand Timmy's voice. The moment I hear him talk I'll turn the TV right off.

My harted for that show rivals my loathing for Twilight...
