Forever a Warrior discussion

(I hope that no one minds that I started this.)

Spiderpaw's tail lashed back and forth excitedly. This was her first time traveling to the Moonstosince becoming WindClan's medicine cat apprentice. She had not seen her mentor in a while, so she made the journey on her own. Some how her paws carried her to the right place. She sat outside the entrance and waited for the other cats to arrive.

Stonetooth padded up to the Moonstone.

"Hello," Spiderpaw called. "Who are you?"

Stonetooth smiled. "Stonetooth. And you are...?"

"Spiderpaw." The white and black she-cat dipped her nose to the tom, who had to be a full fledged medicine cat.

"No need for that," Stonetooth said. "I actually never really went for the bowing."

"Well, you know, there's the whole, you're an apprentice, you need to respect those older than you thing back in camp. It's a habit." Spiderpaw smiled. "Which clan are you from? I think am can pick up RiverClan from your pelt."

Stonetooth smiled. "Right, RiverClan. You?"

"WindClan," Spiderpaw mewed proudly. "I have a question, do you know anything about Silverheart, I have not seen her in a while. I have cat with injuries that I don't know how to treat."

"No, I haven't heard from her. What kind of injuries?" Stonetooth asked.

Spiderpaw sighed. Fine time for her mentor to disappear. "Um, memory loss. I don't think that there are any herbs to help, so I am at a loss."

Stonetooth sighed. "We have a problem too... One of our cats said that her stomach was feeling 'odd.' I have no idea how to treat it..."

Spiderpaw thought of all the stomach problems that she knew. "Are you sure its her stomach? If she has a mate, it might be kits. I've heard that an expecting queen can feel a lot of different things."

"No, she's not a queen," Stonetooth replied.

"I'm not sure then," Spiderpaw mewed. "What I have found that works best, is to just wait it out and see what happens."

Stonetooth nodded.

"I guess we have to wait for the rest of the medicine cats before going in," Spiderpaw meowed, changing the subject.

"Yeah," Stonetooth sighed.

'I hope they show up soon,' Spiderpaw thought, 'I really need to talk with StarClan.'

Stonetooth licked his paw and drew it over his ear.

Hollywing padded towards the Moonstone, her mentor following. She greeted Stonetooth, then turned her gaze on Spiderpaw. "Oh, hello. Are you a new medicine cat?"

Stonetooth smiled at Hollywing.

"No, just an apprentice," Spiderpaw told the newcomer, "for WindClan."

"I know that," Hollywing smiled.

Stonetooth sighed. "Should we keep waiting?"

Hollywing cast a glance towards Mothermouth. "They can meet us inside."

Stonetooth nodded. "Let's go," he said.

"Really," Spiderpaw meowed. "What's it like?" She got to her paws and followed the other two medicine cats."

"It's amazing, let me tell you that," Stonetooth smiled at the apprentice.

"Cool!" Spiderpaw could barely contain her excitement.

"You'll see," Hollywing motioned towards the cave enntrance, then led the way fowards. First, the trio was submerged into darkness for awhile. Finally, they came to a large cave with a soft glow emnating from a large stone in the center.

Stonetooth pressed his nose onto the Moonstone.

Spiderpaw watched Stonetooth, then did the same thing. She feel asleep and was transported to the fields of StarClan.

Hollywing watched them and smiled, then pressing her nose against the chilled Moonstone.

"Welcome, young one," a voice said. Spiderpaw looked around and saw a shimmery cat standing before her. "My name is Snowflight. It is my honor to come and help you."

((*sigh* I don't has a StarClan cat....))

Tortoisesoul and Shadowsoul padded in and pressed their noses to the stone, and were whisked into a starry plain, the same one they had been before when they met with grimcry and Moondust.

But it seemed darker, somehow.

The stars seemed...dimmer? The air was stuffy and humid while it was normally perfect. Shadowsoul's jet pelt bristled as she looked around at everything out of place and not quite right.

A breeze blew into Tortoisesoul's face. A light breeze. A breeze that carried a stench unlike any she'd ever smelled. Tortoisesoul recoiled from the breeze, hackles raised and hissing.

((I have Rosedawn.....but EO has her caught in his shadows -.-* She can't do anything but talk. boring...))

Hollywing blinked her eyes open to see the forest open up around her. Her eyes widened when she noticed every cat was locked in battle. Something sticky was at her feet, and she looked down to see herself standing in a pool of blood. Gasping, Hollywing jumped back. A RiverClan cat rushed at her from the right side, and a ShadowClan cat rushed at her from the other. Hollywing braced herself, but to her surprise, the two cats leaped up in the air above her, colliding in a flurry of teeth and claws. "What are you trying to show me?" she cried out.

((actually, you'll see..mwahahah))

Evil One almost smiled as he scented the medicine cats. He padded in their direction, and the shadows followed, dragging Rosedawn and the others trapped in the shadows with him.

Shadowsoul and Tortoisesoul exchanged a look. They had always been close friends, bonding over the fact that they both cared for Midnightstar in one way or another; him being Shadowsoul's father and Tortoisesoul's mate. They padded foreward...

Only to watch as a black mist of sorts began to blacken the stars.

((mwaahahahaha))

Hollywing blinked, and the scene around her disappeared.

Rosedawn looked down upon the medicine cats. Why did they have to see her in this position?

Shadowsoul hissed as the stench of blood filled her nostrils. She bristled and backed away.

Rosedawn uttered, "You need to help StarClan. We are all in danger, and it's up to the chosen ones now."

"There is much I wish to tell you Spiderpaw," Snowflight mewed, "but time is short. I am not sure where your mentor is, so you will be learning on your own. Be friend the other medicine cat's they will help you. I will too in dreams. The time will come when your clan will need you. You must work as hard as you can and learn as much as possible."

((do snowflight and spiderpaw just not see what's going on...?))

Evil One glared at Rosedawn, the shadows trying to crush the breath out of her so she couldn't utter more warnings. "Chosen ones? There are no chosen ones."

((No, Snowflight took Spiderpaw somewhere else. Snowflight did not to scare Spiderpaw on the first meeting. She is breaking the news to her gently. I will have them join the other soon.))

Spiderpaw nodded. "I can do that."

((That's not the point...the shadows are infecting EVERYPLACE in starclan, all at once. T.T lol TAKEOVER!))

Shadowsoul looked around for the others. As the mist thickened, she lost sight of Tortoisesoul.

((EEK storm...))

Hollywing blinked, finding herself back in the cave. She noticed more medicine cats had arrived, but realized she was the only one who had awakened. She sat back and patiently waited for the rest of the cats to come to.

Rosedawn winced and bared her teeth at Evil One. She cast an urgent glance at the remaining medicine cats.

((So, can some one explain what is going on with StarClan. I looked at only the last page of the prophecy thread.))

"Good, I am sure that you will do well." Snowflight mewed. She sighed. "The darkness is getting stronger." Spiderpaw glanced around as the star began to fade. "StarClan can't contain it any more. The Evil One is getting stronger."
