Most libraries put this title in the young adult section, and I passed it along to my nine-year-old after I gave it a listen. Samuel Johnson and his dachshund, Boswell, happen upon some neighbors trying to call up Satan. With the help of a supercollider, they succeed, and the Great Malevolence and his minions try to make earth a little more like Hell. The story, and the footnotes, keep the humor flying, with a little horror along the way.

Sounds like a lot of fun! A family-road-trip listen?
