Ack! I want one but I don't. I don't know what she would write about and I think BoB is perfect as it is. What would be interesting is if she had a new series with the next generation. Enna and Finn's children, Razo and Dasha'a, and Tusken.
Yes, the kids would be cool. I was talking with someone, and we decided that each book has like a love/romance twist (Rin doesn't, :(), so we would need someone who could have that and we were possibly familiar with. I was thinking Conrad would be good.
I already think that Conrad and Rin are going t get together in the BoB. It's kinda obvious. And I think it's sweet.(P.S. I love how the initials for Books of Bayern is bob, lol)
Yes, it is sweet and it definitely was foreshadowed. Some authors can't write romances but Shannon isn't one of them. She probably could write anything... But, a part of me would like to see Rin single.
Not for me, so much. I think it would be better for her to be married, it would fulfill something in her life that she has been wanting.Oh hey, what are you writing?
I suppose so. I am divided in two. For Conrad's sake it would be lovely. For Rin's sake as well. I can't really make up my mind.Umm, now? I am writing this post. I am also in the middle of an email. Or did you mean something different? I am editing my NaNoWriMo novel and I am cowriting a book with a really good friend. None of them will ever get published or anything (at least I doubt it) but we write for fun.
I think it's so interesting how Rin is so apprehensive to love anyone after Wilem. It kind of reminds me of Enna's problem, but less intrusive.
And Enna couldn't trust anyone, whereas, in Forest Born, Rin can't trust herself. So, there are a ton of differences, but it seems almost like a kinship.

Ha! I know that I have named myself Enna before. But I am not actually her *Sob* If I were... There wouldn't be much that I would change. I would get Finn and fire-speaking and an amazing friend called Isi. What more would one want?
Hmm....I don't know if I would want another one. I felt like there was a good amount of closure. But I suppose it could go either way.
Well, you never know. Mrs. Hale thought that that was it too when she wrote the Goose Girl, then she ended up writing Enna Burning, River Secrets, and Forest Born.

Okay here is my theory. Every book or character has or doesn't have a love interest. Since Finn and Geric and Razo and Dasha all have loves already, it's unlikely they'll get books. The only person I can really think of who has been around a while is Conrad. He could be Rin's love and he would be fun to hear from.

Yes, Rin deserves a soul mate. She's too good to not have one, unless she becomes one of those mother of all children, I might be able to live with it then
OMG great idea! we could make a forum where we can discus Rin's soul mate!!! OMG that is an amazing Idea.
Uhhh...well, if you do, make sure it goes under the Forest Born folder.
But I don't see why she needs one.

Rin could also pass as an old maid herbalist sort of person, if you've read Daughter of the Forest, by Juliet Marillier, I'm thinking of Sorcha.... or the sequel's Liadan.

Yeah. At the moments she's good. Maybe later.

I think that might be because Rin didn't know herself. I mean, she got clearer, but still, she didn't reach the same self-awareness that the other characters met.
Totally. I felt better connected to the others, Ani and enna.. and even Razo. Rin was an interesting character, but I didn't see her as developed as the others...you know?

I think she's done for now. She might revisit. I don't know. I REALLY WANT TO KNOW THE SUPER SECRET PROJECT!!!! AAAH

This SUPER SECRET PROJECT of hers is really starting to drive me crazy. Anyone read her blog faithfully? I'm falling behind and wanna know if she's dropped some more hints about it.
