The PLOT: It begins on Mount Eskel. It's a few generations after the time of Princess Academy and the capitol is restricting Mount Eskel's freedoms more and more. The improvments that Stephan and Britta had done for Mt. Eskel have gone. The new king has Mt. Eskel tightly in his grasp and continues to tighten the noose. The quarry is now part of the tax, they make barely enough living to survive. The traders do not visit anymore. Everyone has to go to school from 5 until 18 when they have the choice. The studies that were taught in Princess Academy, are now part of regular school. When a person reaches age 9 (i think thats the age in the book), they go to school for half of the day and work in the quarry the other half.
When a new kind of Linder is discovered, the people of Mount Eskel keep if a secret. Maybe if it stays undiscovered by Danland, they can find a way to profit, without having more added to the tax. Things change drastically when the prince of Danland has been told that his bride will be found on Mount Eskel, and he comes to choose his bride.....
Currently in the RP:
Our charries were ready to start a normal day of school and mining when after arriving at the school, a Danland official is there to tell them that the King's son's bride was chosen to be from Mt. Eskel. No natives on the mountain like this. Dagur and Sienna (twins) went to Osmo (the head of the council) and explained this to him and told him of the new linder with forest green splotches.
