Ok folks, what should we do for round 5??? Should we go to the options we voted on for round 3 and use the next runner up? I'm ready for some input!

That would work for me. Or maybe we can be assigned a person, and then look at their bookshelves and choose.
I like the "likes and dislikes" one, because then it's kind of a mystery what you're going to get, and it's a puzzle for the person making it, because they have to find something they think fits.
No, we would post which books we like and which we dislike to give the other person some clues... And then the other person would use that info to decide which book to base it on.If you said you hate Twilight and The Graveyard Book, but love The Hunger Games and The Knife of Never Letting Go, I would try to find an action or dystopian book to use for you and avoid paranormal stuff!
Hmm, I would have thought it'd be the opposite, with all the "Mom, s/he's touching/hitting/looking at me!" being bandied around...
I like that idea. I also think that we could do favorite fairy tales, judging a book by it's cover (like a before and after type of thing), and then there was another one we had talked about. I just don't think I would be up for another one of the "Makers choice" or "Recipients choice". I would like to try something a bit different.
I think we'd kind of decided to do maker's choice every other round... So round 5 should be a different "theme". I'm only setting up the dates and swap info and not necessarily dictating the theme, I'm open to another vote if we want.I didn't realize how soon the signups should be ending for round 5 (I usually try to end signups the same day as our mail-by date for the previous round.) We better make a decision pretty quickly!
The before and after sounds really cool!Believe it or not, I'm more productive when my kids are home than when I'm by myself. Maybe when they are home, I search out things to do so they don't annoy me. LOL.
I like the favorite fairy tales idea. It could be expanded to include folktales, mythology, or other "traditional" stories. That would give a pretty wide selection, I think.
I'm good with that if everyone else is. Anyone AGAINST fairy tale theme? Speak now or forever hold your peace!
