The FAYZ: The Gone Series discussion

This is a place where we can actually talk about plot ideas we want to explore, instead of just doing things half-assed and being confused. Also, if you wanna make a point, want to debate something that's happened, or feel something needs fixing, just say it here. :)

Um, look at the name, sweetheart.

I really want set this roleplay after Lies, so that's eight months, according to the summary. I like it because I can just say my character already went through the poof, therefore making her fifteen. And therefore more mature.

Also, we don't have to worry about the storyline. Because in complete honestly I REALLY want to try and follow the storyline this time round. There's SO much potential for awesome.

Our new characters teaming up with Sam (we can interact with the characters!) and us facing down a new threat from the darkness.

Maybe, since kids are dying a bunch from the Plague, it can have the ability to make zombies out of them, since the Plague was created by the darkness. (But only the ones who die from the Plague are zombies, and they CAN'T spread it after they die. So you can only get it when you're alive, and there IS a chance of getting better, depending on how strong you are, how much food you've had, est.)

Just a crazy ass thought. I just really want a plot for this one, instead of us going around crazy like. We can all talk about it and make it up as we go along. :D

I do agree with Sierra that I think we should stick to the plot line (since it's so awesome), and have more interactions with the characters. I mean, it has so much potential and it can be a ton of fun.

Personally, I think it should take place during the middle of LIES story line, and we can work our way from there, and since we don't know exactly what the Plague is, we can all use our brains (perverted, demented, sick, silly...you know.) and come up with something extremely badass and take it from there.

Hahaha. I like singing, but only alone. I get really nervous around people when I sing, so I sound terrible in front of them. :[

y'know htis is fricking geat and all but as I have metioned many times before, I have no fucking clue what happens in LIES, I have not read it yet and its not released over here until september... and I personally liked the old storyline, specially since its coming to an end its lasted about.... 9, 10 months?

We could always just ignore Lies and skip straight from Hunger too Plague?

I mean, Lies wasn't quiet as influential as the other books, if focused more on character development than plot development....Hmmm....

The problem with the old storyline is that it's completely garbled/screwing with the very social foundation of the FAYZ. Also, I personally want to explore a new character.

The old story line was good, but it IS coming to an end. All good things end, and I don't want to beat a dead horse. Also OTHER people are considering joining if we create a whole new plot. And I really want other people to join. The more the merrier.

I hear what you guys are saying about starting a new plot line (which I think is a pretty good idea)
but i've done other roleplays similar to what you're plannig, e.g. completley new characters trying to follow the story plot and still mingle with main ones. Its gonna be hard, but I think worth it. :D

We don't have to follow it point for point, but just more organized without our character completely blowing the other characters out of the water and dominating the position of protagonist.

I like the idea of the new roleplay. I'll probably just stick with my current character because I just started, but give her a new personality or something.

Also for the publication gap thing, once I ordered a book from somewhere else that was released there first, and I got it before it came out in the U.S. Its worth looking for used copies online.

i think you should do it after lies because some improtant things did happen in lies like the town burning. The 5 kids on the island drake/britteny coming back from the dead and being imprisoned

Not everyone has read Lies, some people live in countries where it hasn't been released yet.

I'm thinking of just sending my copy of Lies over to Dan and Matt...they're not going to get it until like, FOREVER and they'll probably get mine in like 3-4 days...
