I'll be there! So far I'm on a some panels in the Alternate History Track and I'll probably be on some in the YA and Lit tracks, and perhaps the Writers' Track, too (haven't heard from them yet, though).http://www.kathrynhinds.com

Who do I contact to get on panels? I emailed somebody at some point but haven't heard anything yet. =) Looking forward to my first Dragon*Con!--Kasey
ETA: Yeah I didn't notice the online guest application form until now, and it's too late to fill it out soooo...I won't be on the official guest list I guess. Silly me! =)
Kasey, it's such a huge convention it's hard to get the hang of things, so don't beat yourself. Look up the different tracks on the Dragon*Con site and see which ones your work falls into. If you're not on the list of attendees, it'd be good to contact the head person, if you can. Try FaceBook for Dragon*Con discussions.
Try emailing Derek at darkfantasies(at)dragoncon.org
you may be able to get on a panel even though you don't have guest status.

Deborah - you will find that the writer's track and Lit. track run all weekend long in the same rooms - so really, to meet authors - just pick a seat, get comfortable and hang out.
Attending their readings is a great way to have one on one time with them. Or an autographing IF there is not a line. (sometimes the lines work through so the end of the hour might be good chat time, provided you make way for latecomers who wish a book signed).
enjoy the con - see you there.
