I remember! The Sea of Monsters says:
"I grabbed a beach blanket and a six-pack of Coke from under my bunk. The Cokes were against the rules.No outside snacks or drinks were allowed ..."
And later says:
"Sneaking out after curfew was against the rules, too."
So maybe these should be some rules. Just a thought... (:

We haven't yet had any cases where we've had to enforce those rules, seems like everyone knows them, but thanks! ;)

but what about chariot races? Like cabins could work together to make chariots through role playing and stuff.

I think we should have a folder that shows people how to make italics and stuff. A lot of people don't know how to do any of it. And I don't knew how to put a line through stuff...

We should have just one massive mailbox. That way, people don't have to go through a lot of folders, and we don't have too many topics.

I GOTT ONE! How about... *drumroll* a Roman Camp Half Blood Rp? That would be awesome-like. Remember, there's a Roman Camp that took down Mount Othrys, and toppled the Big Re-*clear throat* the Big BLACK throne, and in the Lost Hero, Jason Grace, comes from the Roman Camp. I haz thez book.

A good idea. One problem-- we don't know what it looks like, who directs it, or anything. If we make I up, we'll be fine until the next book comes out. I say we wait till then.

Since Ivi said I couldn't double post, I deleted my last comment. How about we make Tag-Teams? Like, a pair of demigods that are a perfect battle group, and a valued combination?

Sure, I mean, a tag-team, I mean, two demigods if paired correctly, can be a very valuable asset to a team... (Ex. Clarisse and Lee Fletcher from the 4th book, 'Battle of the Labryinth'. Daedulus and Mrs. O'Leary. Percy and Annabeth. Nico and Percy. Bianca and Percy. Zoe and Percy. Thalia and Luke... maybe. Thalia and Percy. If I name more, there's problaly going to be more Percies... )

Thanks! Though, I think it'll be more intresting if we have demigods from mixed cabins, and from the same cabins, just to mix things up. So, take, a Zeus kid, and Poseidon kid, and whatcha got? An electrifying, drowning power! YEA! (And to continue from the last post... Clarisse and Percy, Luke and Kronos... yeah, I said it. LUKE AND KRONOS! Um... Piper and Leo, Leo and Jason, Jason and Piper, Jason and Temptest, Festus and Leo, um... Apollo and Artemis... Fowl...lol just kidding. Apoll and Artemis.)

Could there be a WANTED thread? This could be a recruitment/advertising thread for specific characters.

For example, Mary Sue (Hermes) could post wanting a brother (Hermes) that's been at camp for 3 years and they've gone on vacations together.

Mods could post wanting characters from X, Y, Z cabins in order to fill them more.

So on and so forth...

That sounds cool.

Minor Layout Suggestion Change...

1) Create an Application & Characters Folder & place at as the first folder above the Informational Folder.
2) Sticky these threads under that folder
2a) Application Rules & Template - add a link to refer to the Gods & Goddesses Thread
2b) Posting Rules
2c) Character Roster
3) Put every Charries Thread under this Folder

4) Eliminate Cabin Folder
5) Lump all Cabin Threads under a Cabins Folder
6) Add a Sticky Thread - Rules About Cabins. This is where you can add that it's one big room, other demigods not of that cabin have to be invited and so on. And add a link in this thread to the Counselor List :)

The reason for this suggestion is to have the charries all together and it doesn't take a new applicant a long time searching the main discussion screen on where to go. It's all under Applications & Characters. You /might/ get less questions about where to apply and how to apply.

Ahh. I would say yes to this idea, but the problem is, so many people have already made their characters in the (God/dess) charrie areas, it would be a huge hassle to be ride of them.

It isn't getting rid of them as it is moving the threads.

It's just that some people aren't as active as they would like and won't be able to move their characters. I don't think copying their character and pasting them would do us any good, because people might think that the charrie would be ours.

As a mod, you can move a thread to a different folder. That isn't copy/pasting.

Get all the cabin folders and mush them into one gigantic folder, but still keep the separate topics?

No, Van. One folder for just the charries

Charrie folder => The existing topics that say '[God/goddess] Charries'.
And same thing with the RPs?

* Charries Threads (so move each one here. Apollo Charries, Athena Charries...doesn't need sticky)

Cabin Roleplay (new folder - stick under Roleplay?)
* Cabin Rules - Sticky (new thread with rules about cabins, single room, only zeus can be in zeus unless invited, so on)
* Cabin (move each here)

I like the rules idea, but having all the charries and RPS together is kinda hard to find. It's much more organized to have them individually.

Reason for the suggestion is one folder for characters to look at them. I don't know how often I've had to go back on a large search just to hunt down one character and look up history. Consolidated to one folder makes it a lot easier, too, for new applicants to see what's out there.

Cabins could be its own folder for cabin roleplay. But the other roleplay locations are fine as is.

There's short cut to finding things: ctrl + F then type in the name your searching for.

Or, if on a Mac: command + f

How about a quest for finding Drake and pulverizing him? Blake is in. Just take a look in the Poseidon topic. Go ahead. Just don't drown.
