Madeline wished she had her bow, though she knew it would be best to leave it where it was: at the archery range. She laid back on the shore.
Annabelle walked slowly to the Lake, her brown hair cascading down her back. She looked around with her deep brown eyes, and finally got to the Lake. She dipped one foot into the water, after all, she was a daughter of Zues. No use risking going into Posidens territory.
Madeline glanced at Annabelle, then to the sword that seemed to have come from the woods, then back at Georgiana. She pulled her legs up to her chest.
Annabelle looked around, swirling her foot in the water. She noticed Madeline, but glanced away imediately.
Madeline stared at the girl. She looked familiar... Madeline sighed. Her memory hadn't been as sharp lately... It's because of the fever, she decided.
Caspar sat down next to the lake, dipping his legs in the cool water. Three water nymphs rose almost to the surface immediately, fluttering their eyelashes and smiling serene smiles at him. One of them brushed against his bare leg and he shivered, pulling his leg out.
"Sorry, ladies. Business to attend to, you know." Ignoring the wounded, pleading expressions on the nymphs' faces, Caspar returned to his cabin.

Deitra stood at the edge of the forest, letting the cool air run through her hair. She sighed softly and contintued into the forest.
Hayley skipped down to the shore of the lake, looking as innocent and cheery as ever. Her hair swung from side to side, covering the creature that clung onto her shoulder with tiny claws.
Deitra watched the girl. She sighed and sat down against a tree, wood nyphs peering down at her. Deitra smiled up at them.
Hayley stopped abruptly at the edge of the forest, looking directly at Deitra without knowing it. Her hair fell to the side in smooth waves when she tilted her head toward the other girls' direction.
Madeline smiled slightly. She brushed her hair out of her face, feeling slightly self-conscious.
The gesture caught Hayley's curious eyes, making her turn impulsively toward Madeline. She forced a sweet smile at her, achieved with perfection after many years of practice.
Madeline smiled a sort of awkward smile. She turned back towards the glittering lake, feeling warmed by the sun's rays.
A scowl came across Hayley's face when she was ignored. Let's go see who she is. She pranced over to Madeline, the smile reappearing on her face. Clearing her throat softly, she stepped to the girl's side. "Hello," she greeted politely. "I'm Hayley, Daughter of Apollo. Who might you be?"
Not much of a talker, hmm? I'll just have to pry it out of you. Hayley's eyes brightened and her smile sweetened in a welcoming way. "That's a really pretty name. It means 'high tower' like the Eiffel Tower." Cocking her head to one side in a studious way, she looked her over. "You're pretty too, like the Eiffel Tower. Who's your immortal parent?"
Elena and Nemo, her three legged dog, wandered on to the scene where the lake was. She saw two girls who looked friendly. She walked over to them, seeing if they wouldn't mind her presence.

Darn it, so close. At least she thinks I'm a sweetie. "Oh, really? With your looks you could be an Aphrodite." Hayley smiled and gently fingered a strand of Madeline's hair. Not nearly as nice as mine. She pulled her gentle hand out and turned to Elena and saw a dog, making her nose crinkle in distaste. She quickly held back a sneer and smiled at the new girl. "Hello, I'm Hayley. Who's that adorable little creature?" she cooed at the dog, hiding Jink in the waves of her hair.

Madeline's blush deepened. "I doubt it... I'm a Hunter of Artemis, that's all I know," she muttered. Madeline gave a shaky smile to Elena.
Elena looked up,"I'm Elena, daughter of Posiedon. This is my partner Nemo. He has the ability to turn nto a dolphin when we are in water ad I give him the comand. He follows me everywhere. Nice to meet you Hayley." Nemo sniffe Hayley then glanced up warmly at her.
Hayley quickly lost interest in Madeline and ignored her last words. Her attention was on Elena. "Poseidon? Wow." She smiled and eyes the dog with less disdain than before. "A dolphin too, what a spectacular creature. I'm daughter of Apollo, nice to meet you too. May I pet him?" She gave Elena such an innocent look it would've convinced anyone.
Once a good distance away, Madeline hugged her knees. Why must I be so shy? she winced inwardly.
"Sure. He's a sweet heart. He' actually about 5 years old, even though he acts and looks like he's older. Tere is a certain insodent that caused him to be a dolphin anyway." Elena scratched Nemo's head.
Jacob walked over and sat down next to Madeline "Hi!" he said
Hayley looked at Jacob and her annoyance rose, and it began to show. "On second thought," she began. "I shouldn't. Or else my companion might not like the scent." Jink clambered onto Hayley's outstretched arm, growling at Nemo. "His name is Jink and he doesn't like dogs." Aka mutts, eww. "He bites a lot, but he can be nice."
