Duration - August

To complete at least one book from part A and one from part B

August's challenge has two parts and your aim is to read at least one book from each part.

PART A - Read at least one book from the following categories. For the full challenge one book from each of them.

1. PNR - A Paranormal Romance book of your choice.
2. UF - An Urban Fantasy book of your choice.
3. Summer / vacations - A book which has something to do with summer or vacations. (This one does not have to be PNR/UF unless you want it to be!)

PART B - Read new to you author(s). Read at least one and up to three.

1. New to me author.
2. New to me author.
3. New to me author.

I was also wondering if the book we chose to read would count in both categories. Say for example I wanted to read a book by Julianna Stone, I've never heard of that author but she writes paranormal novels.

Would that count for both the new to you author and a paranormal romance read?

Urban Fantasy, is generally a series set around one character and takes place in a city/big town, basically an urban setting. It will have fantastical/paranormal aspects in it, and although most of the stories have a romance in it, the books aren't based around a romantic HEA. It doesn't necessarily have to be set in present times, it can be set in either the future or the past as well.

The challenge runs for the month of August. It's up to you if you start to read early, I've still got some of my July boooks to read first though!

Your summer or vacation book can be loosly defined. Anything that you associate with summer or where a vacation is part of the story. Hope that helps with that category!

Whew I found my Summer/Vacation book- it was on my shelf- Undead and Unappreciated(Queen Betsy #3)- it has a picture of her on the beach on the cover so I'm thinking that suffices! lol
