Alice was sitting at Edge, a giant cliff overlooking a vast ocean that covered most of wonderland and separated it from the other half. The bad half. She was sewing the eyes back into her stuffed rabbit. She'd gotten angry at one of the cards earlier and her other half, she liked to call herself Lilah, had ripped them out. "Poor bunny," she mumbled, "don't worry, you'll be good as new in no time."

Alexander walked up behind Alice with his cane tucked under his arm and he taped her on the shoulder "my lady they are at it again"

She turned her head, "Who is at what again, Alexander?" She set her rabbit to the side and stood up, dusting the dirt from the back of her dress.

he picked up the rabbit taking his hat off "ecila is disturbing the mirror again i think it's time for us to go" he said putting the rabbit in his hat then putting it back on

"Have you told anyone else?" She asked, her already large blue eyes getting bigger.

"of course not my lady that is only for us to know"

she let out a breath, "Good, then let us leave. Ecila is a great force, we wouldn't want her to harm any of our little oysters there in the other world. We should hurry." She hooked her arm through the Hatter's and they began to walk.

"my lady i must say i think we should compose an attack on the them they are starting to become more and more troublsome" he said with concern

She sighed, "I suppose you are right, but Lilah finds her to be such great fun." She giggled, "I figured we would have to deal with them one final time before taking all of Wonderland back for good. Lets hope that this time is that time."

he took a deep breath "the wonderland has been seperated for centuries to take it all back would take years of planning"

She giggled again, "You think it impossible, yes? Well then let me ask you this, is this land not completely made of the impossible?"

"even in the wonderland peace may not be possible" he said glumily "i don't mean to put you down my lady but i must look out for you"

She sighed, "You have yet to learn that it is nearly impossible to put me down. My positiveness is what gives the people hope. If I were negative and violent because of my lack of hope in our country, would I not be the same person we are fighting?"

he nodded "that is true and it is why you are the most effective of our leaders" he smiled

"What can I say, it's one of my many talents." She let go of his arm and hopped onto a rock, balancing herself on the narrow surface.

"yes but there is also that problem of your other self to put in the equation"

"Lilah is a part of me. I suppose when I stop seeing her as a separate entity, our personalities will fuse somehow, and we will become one." She looked at Alexander, "but until that day comes..." She slipped up a little on the rock, but caught herself "Well, clumsy me." She giggled.

he stood at the bottom of the rock ready to catch you should you fall "well let's hope that day comes soon my lady"

"Yes, I believe it shall. I'm sure Lilah dreads the coming of that day, she finds me annoyingly cowardly and too timid for her taste." The end of the rock came and she hopped down next to Alexander. "But I suppose having a seperate person take up room in your mind is both a weakness and a strength. As a weakness, we think differently, thus we react differently to things. As a strength, I suppose we are more in tune with eachother than even twins, that being because we are the same person, and yet.... not the same."

"well in the wonderland you never know" he looked at his watch "but we really must go my lady the mirror is still being disturbed"

"Alright." She tapped the heel of her shoe on the cobblestone of the road and a hole opened up beneath the two of them. They fell a short distance and landed in a dirt tunnel, a staircase to a large wooden door in front of them. "Here we are, the doorway to the mirror!" She climbed the stairs and pushed it open.
The door led out of a strangely shaped tree trunk and into a meadow containing flowers of all kinds and a rippling silver surface that seemed to jut out of the ground.

he climbed out behind you "what matter of action should we take my lady"

"Well, Alexander, first we must deal with the problem at hand. one: There is nobody here, and two: Pieces of the Mirror are MISSING!"

he creased his eyebrows "i'll go find them my lady they can't have gotten far"

"I'm afraid they have." She touched the surface, her fingers creating little ripples, like in water. "rather large pieces are gone. If the mirror is not whole, the door way will stay open. Countless innocents will wander in and be lost forever in Wonderland's eternal forests and devoured by our own shadowy reflections." She looked sad, her gaze was far off.

"don't worry yourself my lady i will find them but for now we need to find someone to gaurd the mirror"

"Yes, of course." She clapped her hands twice and a ruslting came from the bushes. A stampede of pigs came rushing from the underbrush.

he looked at the pigs and raised an eyebrow "are you sure that they are compitent enough to gaurd the mirror my lady?"

"Of course not. but they are quite handsome pigs, don't you agree?" She smiled, obviously pleased with herself.

he sighed "my lady i must protest. this is a serious matter and the mirror must be protected so we can go find the missing pieces"

"Oh it is a quite serious matter indeed, but is a pig not a serious thing?" She scratched one on the head, between it's perked ears. "I'm sure they will fare well with protecting the remaining mirror. Isn't that right pigs?" a unified squeal rang through the herd, and she smiled again. She turned towards Alexander, "They are are aware of their task." She turned towards the pigs, stomped one foot and saluted them. They responded by standing on their hind legs and repeating her gestures, "See? well trained, aren't they?"

he still had a look of concern "mabey well trained as if a monkey but would they fair in a battle"
