I was frustrated by the fact that the girl's body was never recovered and sunk instead into oblivion into that hole...and THEN, he dies...but really, seemed as though there was no closure as no one ever found out who killed her.

Yes, he just ... what? falls off into oblivion. And the poor dad never knows what happens to his daughter; although he does know, he can't know for sure. And no justice for the daughter. I was just left so unsatisfied. The flaky wife just takes off; leaving her KIDS? What kind of mother does that?

Yes, it's a bit much to swallow. Yeh, Gramma Lynn...lol, everybody needs one of those for sure haha. No wonder the daughter was so flaky.
