Ronyell (rabbitearsblog) | 95 comments I noticed that there is a novel version of this tale from Neil Gaiman, but recently (well, actually it was made around 2008 or 2009), there was a graphic novel version of Coraline and I wanted to know how you all felt about this version of Coraline.

Amy I haven't read it yet but just added it to my "to read" pile. I've seen it and it's so pretty. Can't wait to read it.

Amy Was Whybe (sp) creepy in the graphic novel? I thought the version in the movie was definitely creepy enough for me.

Wybie wasn't in the graphic novel version of the book. Actually, I don't think he was in the original book since he was just made for the movie. But the graphic novel version had some creepy images!!!

Yeah, he was one of the main characters in the movie, but I think that the cat was one of the main secondary characters in the book.

Amy Maybe. It's been a long time since I've read it. My fourth graders read it last year and loved it.
