Emily Eastman | 9 comments Ok so here's how this works, give the book you last read rating of G,PG,PG-13, or R and explain why. Then say who you would reccomend it too and what age would appreciate it the most. Ok I'll start.

To Kill a Mockingbird: I give it a PG because many people in the book are racist, there is some swearing, and the main character's fater, Aticus, is the defendant lawyer for a rape case (even though the accuser was lying about the whole thing, there is mention of men getting drunk and not caring for there families properly (one man beat his daughter, no descripition it is just implied, anda man does break a kids arm out of hatred but the kid is rescued and a man dies by tripping when holding a knife (no description on either the arm break or the death). I reccomend this book to book clubs, honors English students and classic lovers. I say this book is 13-14+ because that's the age that would really appreciate this book because it was amazing and that's why it's a classic.

So... your turn
