message 6: by Carly (new)

Carly (cloud-envy) As much as I hate twilight and dispose the authors writing, the book was much better than the crappy exscuse for a movie.

Coraline:
Book < Movie

Idk, the movie seemed more to have a more developed plot than the book.

message 12: by . (new)

. (onawhim) yes, but that's what made the book better, i think.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

i have yet to read that book.

Book > Movie : Vampire diaries.
Well book vs tv shows really. But they got the characters all wrong :(

Jalex (DesteryMooresmysecretlover) | 34 comments Ikr? VD was just all messed up. I think they should've made movies instead of the TV shows so it wouldn't be as messed up and maybe better than the books

Queen Susan the Gentle (highqueensusanofcairparavel) How much do you think Lord of the Rings sticks to the books?

message 16: by . (new)

. (onawhim) they stuck to them pretty OK. i mean, there were some parts of it i liked, but then again i loved the development between eowyn and aragorn. eowyn was my favourite character. :)

Queen Susan the Gentle (highqueensusanofcairparavel) Hey she is one of my favorites too! I just love the part in the third movie when she kills the Witch King.

message 18: by . (new)

. (onawhim) ahh, me too. although they didn't expand on her thing with faramir, another of my favourite characters.

honestly, though, aragorn was so frickin' HOT in the movies. he was supposed to be a little past his prime in the books, but it's not how i imagined him anyway. the movie aragorn suited the character better, i think.

Queen Susan the Gentle (highqueensusanofcairparavel) I totally agree. I've got an older sister who has a crush on Aragorn.

message 20: by . (new)

. (onawhim) ahahaha
i've got a crush on murtagh from eragon. :#)

Queen Susan the Gentle (highqueensusanofcairparavel) That figures, I've seen a picture of him.

message 22: by . (new)

. (onawhim) well i loved him right when he was introduced in the book, and in the movie, i was like 'oh my god oh my god IS THAT MURTAGH?! SCOOOOORE.'
yeh, the actor's pretty decent too, his name's garrett hedlund :)

Queen Susan the Gentle (highqueensusanofcairparavel) LOL I act like that whenever I see someone familiar. If I could meet any guy I have a crush on, I would so faint.

message 24: by . (new)

. (onawhim) haha! i know exactly how you feel.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

for some reason, the actor who plays eragon reminded me of a younger verson from the guy in the mentalist

message 26: by . (new)

. (onawhim) yeah, kindof... i know what you mean xD

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

lol

message 28: by Garrett (last edited Jul 28, 2010 07:17PM) (new)

Garrett (garrettgoodreads) I think the movie Blood and Chocolate is better than the book. The movie has a lot more plot than the book does, which was basically 300 pages of hormone-raged teenagers.

Queen Susan the Gentle (highqueensusanofcairparavel) Eww I don't like the sound of that title...

message 30: by . (new)

. (onawhim) blewd! shakalaat

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)
