Random Stuff discussion

Rachel was preparing for surgery. A patient had come in with a severe stab wound. "Is everything ready?" she asked the nurse.

"Good. Then let's go to the O.R." said Rachel

"We need to get this thing stitched up now" Rachel said as she grabbed the sutures.

The surgery was a success. "Thank you Angie for the help." said Rachel as she washed her hands. "Do you want to grab a bite to eat with me? I'm starving."

Crystal ran to catch up with Angie and Rachel. "Hey guys." She slowed to a stop then continuded((SP)) talking. "How was the operation?"

"The surgery went great!" said Rachel "Angie and I were just going to go get something to eat. Do you want to come with?"

"Sure. I was thinking of going to Subway. How about you?"

"Subway sounds great! How's car should we take?" asked Rachel

"I say Angie's car. Is that okay?"

"Sure it's fine withe me!" said Rachel

"Okay, is it alright with you Angie?"

"OK! To Subway then!" said Rachel "I'm so hungry I think I might get a footlong!" she said laughing

Crystal jumped into the back seat. "Come on Rachel. Get in. Hey, I'll pay okay. I mean I suggested it so I'll pay."

Rachel hopped in next to Crystal. "I'm glad today not so full of people with minor wounds." said Rachel "Yesterday I think there about 14 people who came in because they needed a few stitches."

"Yeah I guess I would rather do minor wounds than have somebody near death on the operating table." Rachel admitted

"Finally!" said Rachel "I'm so hungry I voud eat an elephant!" She went onto the restaurant and ordered an orchird chicken salad sandwich.

"Ugh!" said Rachel in disgust."I just got chicken salad all over my scrubs!"

((Subway doesn't have chicken salad sandwiches))

Crystal ordered a tuna on wheat. She sat down next to Angie. "Hey can we not talk about our scrubbs?"

"You know that I've been dying to get a dachshund ever since I was little. Well, now I have enough money to buy one."

"Emily! Or should it be a guy? If so Taylor. What do you think?"

"I think dachsunds are so cute!" said Rachel "I have always wanted to get a Yellow Lab. They are my favorite."

"Oh I forgot about the time!" Rachel gasped "Thanks for the reminder Angie! We will probably end up speeding on the way back!" she joked

The ladies arrived back at the hospital. "Hey we made it on time." said Rachel "Well i guess it's back to work for me."

"See you afterwards. Oh wait Rachel they said they needed us in the office. They said it was urgent."

"Thanks Crystal I'm on my way I guess." said Rachel She saw Dr.Pepper. "Hey how did your latest treasure hunt go?" she asked

"Yeah he said all of us. Oh hey Dr. Pepper. Come on guys we can ask him after the urgent thing."

"Did you bring us any presents?" asked Rachel before going to that urgent thing that Crystal had told them about.

"Come on. And I'll pass for the dead body."

Rachel went to the thing that ws so urgent "Well what was so urgent?" she asked the head doctor.

"Yeah. You disturbed our talk with Dr. Pepper."

((who wants to be the head doctor? he's only a minor character))

Rachel's jaw dropped and her face went pale. "When are we supposed to have this $10 million?" she asked

"We could have a massive car wash or something." suggested Rachel "and a bake sale."

"Yeah people can be very generous when it counts." said Rachel sounding more optimistic.

"Yeah because we would really like to keep our jobs." said Rachel

"What iif we can also earn other money so we can upgrade even more. Like I know alot of animals down at the shelter need homes. And the people working there, if they don't get at least 3/7 gone they lose there jobs."

"I had no idea you were so generous!" said Rachel smiling.

Rachel gave Dr.Pepper an odd look then shrugged.

"Yes! Let's have cake!" exclaimed Rachel

"I hope it's chocolate!" exclaimed Rachel

"I want the biggest piece!" said Rachel

"Well okay, But Rachel can have the biggestest peice, AND I WANT THE ONE WITH THE MOST ICING." She looked around. "Please." She said sweetly.

"What's the hurry?" asked Rachel

Rachel put down her plate once she had finished her cake. "I suppose I should get back to work." she said and walked out.

Crystal looked up with food still in her mouth. "But I haven't finished eating." She relized she had said that with her mouth full so she swallowed her cake.
