Tim (hunterx280) | 50 comments I saw this interesting Comic Con interview. Author Christopher Paolini (author of Eragon) interviews Patrick Rothfuss (author of The Name Of The Wind). Very interesting discussion on writing fantasy.

Eric | 11 comments Neat. While some dislike the Eragon series. I find them to be a great quick read, much like the Harry Potter series.

Despite the fact that Eragon is not good literature, it's a fun, entertaining adventure. It's nothing new but damn is it a good time to read if you just want to shut off your brain and read something. It's the Hollywood summer movie of a book.

I do agree with your sentiment about turning your brain off while reading the book. Doing that with some books and movies make them far more enjoyable.
