Iris looked over the side of the ship. Thank goodness I took this job, she thought. I love the sea! And I have so much time to write... She was falling in love.

Olivia walked around the ship, when she saw Iris and waved.

Iris smiled back.

"Hello Iris."

"Hey. Great day for sailin' isn't it?"

"Yes, the water's clear as crystals."

"Beautiful description. I might use that."

Olivia smiled. "Always writing, aren't you?"

"It's kinda what I do, Livi. Besides navigate. I've always had a great sense of direction. Either on the paper or out in the world. Always." She smiled back.

Olivia smiled.

Iris looked out to the sea. "Home, I call it. Home."

"You should use that in your story."

"I could. It is sort of like my life..."

Olivia smiled, looking over the water. "Do you know when we'll dock?"

"None. Captain's keeping to himself."

"I know, it's annoying. But someday he'll hand the ship down to me."

"Alleluia. We might actually get somewhere," she remarked.

"Yes, that would be amazing."

Iris turned to the open sea. A dolphin jumped out of the water and spiraled right back in. "I really wish I could be like 'em. Free and no worries. Why?"

Cat sat in his cabin frowning at the maps sitting out in front of him.

Iris turned around to the general direction of Cat's cabin. He didn't even seem to like me. Why'd he hire me...?

Checking ihs copass and a few other instuments Cat cowled, the ship had gotten off course. He stood and stepped out of his cabing.

"Navigator?" he barked.

Olivia turned twords him on habit.

Emma walked towards Olivia and Iris, but she always stared at Cat's cabin. Why does he always stay there? The sea's so cool, he should stop being so overly serious.. she thought. She didn't enjoy overly serious captains, bosses or headmasters.

"Yes Captain?" Iris smirked. This boat's off course cause of you, buddy, not me.

Olivia looked back at Iris.

Iris winked at Liv and Emma. He's gonna find out soon that he's really stupid. And soon enough I'll run this ship. I could bet ya if we took a vote, I'd win.

"You do know we are about fifty mile off course?" Cat growled at her.His coats rubbed painfully against the old scars on his back.

"And as I recall I set you to keep the Qautermaster straight on course," Catt added.

"Sir Cat, if I may ask, where are we headed?"

"Yes. I, personally, have never been so confused on a ship before.." Emma started shyly.

"Yes sir, I must agree. I did set it earlier when we were headed for an island 20 miles behind us. I watched you watch it pass us by. Where are we going?" Iris smirked again.

"I tried to watch a map, at least. But no result. Seriously, are we going to sail this way forever?" Emma asked, sounding sorta pissed off

Calm my friend. This jerk will realize who's to rule around here, she silently commented. Iris really wanted to be captain. She needed Cat to make one little mistake...

"So.. where are we going?" Emma asked again, like a conclusion
