Penelope said the password, then walked into the common room and sat down on a chair.

Penelope waved to Scarlet. "Hey Scarlet!"

Cinnamon stood at the locked door of the common room, clutching her wand in her right hand with a pet cage in her left hand.
"Alohomora!" She said, flicking her wand. The door swung open and she walked into the large yellow room. She looked around and waved to the other Hufflepuffs. 'It's good to get to know your fellow house members' Her father had always told her. She went and sat down on the sofa in the middle of the room, and opened the cage she had in her left hand. Her fox, Pixie jumped out and sniffed the air. Pixie jumped up onto the sofa with Cinnamon and Cinnamon stroked her.

Cinnamon looked up, and held up her hand, but then realised she wasn't being talked to, and took it back down. "Avis" She said, flicking her wand. An eruption of tiny birds came out of the tip. She smiled.
