13)You carry a picture of Sarge in yur wallet!
I just survived 3:37 of the bee gees just to see the combat set. That is a cool set
very bad pun my dear! I would appreciate if you didn't let anymore of those escape into the public!
true my friend very true but what the hey we have fun!
15) You're a COMBAT! fan if you decide to learn French and German just so you can understand every word spoken on the show!
yup haven't done that yet though did you?
Wow, no, I didn't know that about the German scripts; that's neat! So that's why there are a few times where I thought I understood some of the words....thanks! Good point about French always being translated--maybe I'll have to switch :-) Do you understand a lot of the German spoken on the show? Most times, as you pointed out, you can kind of get the general idea of the conversation (in either language) but sometimes I'm just really curious what they're saying :-)
Well, it's still neat that you understood enough of it to get the drift of the conversation! Cool :-)
I just struggled though the BeeGees' video as well and the set looks awesome and another redeeming quality is that the BeeGees= the Brothers Gibb, and that is German so it was like they were Germans on Combat! just at the wrong time...I took German in high school for two years just for Combat! as well. It worked and is marvelous! Ich lieb es!
I am frightened that most of the list applies to me.
16) You categorize your friends as "In my squad" or "Not in my squad".Only the smartest, trustworthiest, and loyal friends can make it into my squad.
About #4....what other TV shows with COMBAT!actors have any of you seen? One time I saw part of a doctor/medical TV show with Vic Morrow AND Conlan Carter in it--I think James Whitmore was in it too--but I don't know the name of the show and I didn't even see the end. I keep wondering how it turned out :-)
oh that bonanza ep. is Avenger!!!!
Thanks, those would be fun to see! I'd seen some of them in movies--Vic Morrow in "The Blackboard Jungle," Jack Hogan in "The Cat Burglar," and Dick Peabody in a Western with James Garner. But it would be neat to see them in TV shows too. I think my mom's watched "Adam 12" so I'll have to ask her if she remembers him in it.
Yes, it was kind of strange/funny for me to see him playing a juvenile delinquent, when I was so used to him as Saunders! Quite a change! He did a great job though.

yeah anywhooo can we get back to someone other than me.?
Yeah! I know what you mean! I loved that it was soooo funny!
LoL, sounds funny!! :-) Who shouts "Empty!" in that one? That sounds familiar but I can't recall who said it. Is that the episode with the man who wanted to be a priest?
I can't remeber! but its just a guest star who says it!
I just watched one that was good! It has Robert Du'vall in it which of course makes it good he is AMAZING!!!
No he's something else that I shall not say! Because it was a surprise in the Ep.
About "The Partisan"--I'm pretty sure I haven't seen that one--but, did you figure out the "surprise?" Sometimes I can guess right, but I'm usually not very good at figuring out the surprises/twists at the end :-)
19) You find yourself involuntarily using the same body language as the squadies.I find myself scratching the top corner of my eyebrow with my thumbnail like Saunders. I also realize I am scratching my chest like Kirby always does, with my left hand even while I am right handed!
**Warning: social comentary content**
I think I (or anyone) do this because as social animals that we humans are we pick up the mannerisms that others do around us like from our families or friends, so the same thing can happen by watching our friends on TV (psychologically they are really our friends) and act as they do.
