I listened to the book on CD. This is the first time I have not enjoyed a Kathy Reichs book. I believe it may have had a lot to do with the person who did the reading.

I'm beginning to think I will not be able to read 50 books this year.

35. The Good Guy by Dean Koontz

I usually enjoy a Koontz book, but this one was a bit disappointing. Not one of his best in my opinion.

I love Dean Koontz, but I wish he'd concentrate more on developing a beautiful tome of a book with excellent characters and an in-depth storyline, like his older works, rather than the short, pretty lack-lustre books he's now churning out every few months.

I'm not sure if this counts as a book, but I'm going to include it, since I know I am not going to make 50 books this year.

39.Odd Hours by Dean Koontz

40. The Partner by John Grisham

This book was okay. I haven't read a Grisham book in a long time. It was given to me. It seemed like it took me forever to read. I just wasn't all that into it.

I'm definitely not going to make 50 books. I did much better last year. I think it is because this year, I started working from home, so I wasn't reading a book at work, one at home and listening to an audio CD back and forth to work.

41. Vicious Circle by Mike Carey

I didn't make 50 books this year. I'll try to make it next year.

42. The Pawn by Steven James

Got one more in before the end of the year. Missed it by 7 books.
