I haven't read the newest book in this series, but I added the short story Stopping Time to my Kindle. It's supposed to start after Ink Exchange, after Leslie leaves Irial. That's my favorite book in the series, anyway.

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) I've read the first book in this series, I don't think I've read any of the others...I really liked the first one though. How many books are in the series?

So far...um, 4? 5? Something like that. I've got kind of a love-hate relationship with the books. I always want to read them, but they never live up to my expectations.

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Oh dear.. I thought there was only 3.. :S I think I've only read the first book.. How many have you read ?

3? 4? Depends on how many are out. I haven't read the newest one. But it's got kind of a funky way about it. Every odd numbered book in the series seems to be about this one particular character, but then the even numbered ones are from someone else's, usually a minor character we've already met who gets swept into this world.

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Oh, that's weird. I don't think I've encountered any series that was like that.

It threw me for a loop. I expected #2 to pick up where the 1st left off, but it didn't. And actually, I liked the 2nd better. I liked that character more.

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Oh really? Well, I want to continue the series sometime soon, because I liked the first book.

I just found out today reading a People magazine that Wicked Lovely is going to be a movie, supposedly coming out in 2012. I thought you guys would like to know.

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Serious? Eesh, I hate how books are being into movies.. it ruins them.

But it does give it attention. I mean, without these movies, how big would Potter have gotten? Or Twilight? Granted, they had a lot of steam on their own, but the movies seriously helped them along.

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Yea, that's true.. but it also brought on a ton of new fans who don't care about the books, only the movies.
