I haven't gotten caught up with the series yet. I think I stopped around 7, but I do want to continue! It's just been so long since I read them, I only remember certain characters and things from certain books! I did start rereading the first one today. I really love how it all begins, when she saves Bill and then he saves her.

Khushi (khushi_85) I have read them all including the recent one.And to be honest I don't like Bill.I am Team Eric.I am happy that Sookie is now with Eric but I not sure that the relationship will go till the end.

See, I don't like Bill either. I definitely liked him more in the books than in True Blood, but Eric is definitely better. I just get the impression that he cares about Sookie more than Bill does. Bill leaves her for extended periods of time (sometimes he has no choice), but then who can she turn to? Eric. I really liked the book when he was cursed and had no memory. Was that 4?

Khushi (khushi_85) Yeah that was book 4 and it was my fav in the series.Eric was so sweet and romantic in that book.I totally loved their romance in it.

YES! That's my favorite too! I think I'm going to try to reread the series to catch back up and then read the 3 or 4 I haven't read yet. But that's definitely my favorite.

Amanda (amandag123) team eric!

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) This series sounds pretty interesting. I'll have to find the time to read it!

Sandra Pulliam (sandypllm) | 33 comments Ok, so I have to admit I love True Blood. I only read the first book in the series and decided to just watch it instead. I am team the new hot wolf guy that has been looking out for Sookie per Eric's orders. I would take him home! As for Bill I think they made a really bad choice in the guy who plays him. Don't think he is good looking at all. There for I want her with Eric. Excited to see the rest of the season.

Eric is definitely better looking in the series than Bill. I watched the 1st season of True Blood, but I haven't seen any others yet. I thought it was pretty good. There were multiple scenes I was glad to see. Like in episode one or two when Sookie rescues Bill from the Rats and then Bill saves Sookie. That is seriously, like my favorite part of book one. And I don't know why.

Heather I've read every book in the Sookie series so far and I watch True Blood. I recommend both, because the show is nothing like the books so you get a new perspective.

I would definitely read the books too. You get so much more from them. Bill officially sucks (no pun intended)in the books and in the show. Erik is by far the better vampire and love interest...

Oh yes, and I've only read the first 6. I just get the feeling that Erik cares about her more. Bill sort of seems like he feels he owes her still for the rescue from the Rats. He's kind of forced into it, I want to say. Like, "hey, we live close by, let's fall in love." Which is dumb.

Heather He was kind of forced into by the Queen's orders. At least that what I thought from one of the books. He said he fell in love with her, but really. I think he would say anything.

At least Erik was up front from the being.

Right. And there's just something about him that I really like. He's honest, but he's got humor. He's incredibly powerful (and it does go to his head), but he's still kind of down to earth. I don't know. I just like him.

Heather I love him. I like his humor(and all the other things you mentioned) plus his arrogance, it's kind of charming in a sadistic kind of way I guess.

Yeah, right? I mean, normally I hate arrogant people, but maybe because it's infused with humor, like he doesn't take it as seriously? I don't know. But I'm rereading the 1st book in my spare time and he hasn't come up yet. I waiting for that.
