twilight lovers! discussion

Well I was having fun posting around when I started wondering what everyone's favourite chapters for each book in the Twilight series were! I know I have two faves from each one, they're mostly the overly, gooey, sickeningly sweet ones that make you go high with elation and pleasure as you read them...wow there goes my Phenylethylalanine levels again!
Anyway~ so here are my favourites:

Twilight:
Chapter 13 confessions
Chapter 14 mind over matter

New Moon
Chapter 23 the truth
Chapter 24 vote

Eclipse
Chapter 8 temper
Chapter 20 compromise

And my all time favourite, would have to be temper simply because I actually read Eclipse first (silly, I know, but it was literally impossible to get Twilight out from the library, with a waiting list of over 150 people, and a month for each one...I would have to wait years...and I wasn't going to wait that long! So I jumped at the chance to read one in the twilight series, and it happened to be Eclipse =P. And well I didn't know how good it was yet so I didn't wanna waste $30 on it and find out it wasn't as good as expected =P, of course I have them all now though! XD) and yes, I really loved that chapter! All the sexual tension and gooey-ooey-ness, and well I kind of didn't like Edward to begin with because he was annoying at the start of Eclipse, but that chapter was the inflection point of my Twilight obsession, the point when I fell hard for Edward, you know like when you get addicted to smoking? You cough and hack when you take the first puff, then after the second or third go you're downright addicted to the nasty stuff and you can't stop no matter what! Well you could if you really had the willpower...but I have neither the willpower not desire to cut my addiction to Edward! (by the way I don't smoke, it's a nasty habit...but I proudly proclaim Edward to be my drug, to heck with the sun!) XDDD

The chapters are way too long for me to pick favorites. However, I do like certain "parts" more than others. For example, in Twilight, which I just currently read again for the second time, my favorite sections are:

1) When Edward saves Bella from the van in what is it? Chapter 1 or 2?

2) The breakfast episode when Bella jokes with Edward on pg. 314 and 315. It actually made me laugh out loud.

3)The playful episode on pg. 345 in Edward's room.

4) Him taking her to prom- that was halarious especially since she was so oblivious to where he was taking her.

Oh, yes I liked those parts too! But I think perhaps I didn't like the whole chapter and I chose those chapters mainly because I remember my favourite parts being in them. They made me really happy reading them, and I look forward to reading them again if I re-read the books before breaking dawn comes out! Except I have such a long list of books to read that I've only managed to re-read Twilight a second time. Too bad huh?

The Cullens- was one of my favorite :) The playful morning banter and the sweet lullaby played by Edward on the piano, it was just so light, funny and sweet. There are definately many others of course but that one sticks out.

The Truth- in New Moon was another one. I loved it!

PandaPanda... I have only read New Moon and Eclipse once but I have read Twilight twice. And I am about to reread New Moon... something to do while waiting. :-\

Ah I stand in the same position as you do. I started New Moon, then I stopped after Edward left and I'm now too caught up in lots of other books to finish New Moon! But I probably will when August swings around. ^^
I can't wait, and my friend is going to buy Breaking Dawn for me as a late birthday present! Great huh?

Wow Suzie had tonnes of favourite chapters in Eclipse. =o I think I'll still with temper as my all time favourite. I'm waiting until my friend gives me back my copy of The Host so I can select my favourite chapters from that too! But I know which parts are my favourites, just have to check the chapter name! ^^ Fun fun!

I LOVE the Vote too! It's so funny!!! I don't get why he went and broke the TV though. Why didn't break a window or something?

I like alot of chapters, I just don't know the names. :)
