yeah I am waiting for Crescendo too.Though I have some complains about Hush Hush it still was an enjoying read.
It was kind of hard to understand when Patch was messing with her head, like on the coaster. But Patch is still really cool.
No messing with the head was ok.In that ride,it was actually exciting. But I have problem with the romance part.I just thought they didn't develop that kind of love between them before Patch suddenly sacrificing himself for saving Nora.
That too, I guess. For 75% of the book it seemed like he was trying not to like her and trying to kill her. But in my eyes, he redeamed himself at the end when Nora sacrificed herself and he didn't accept it.
Patch was more of an anti-hero. I find because he knew her long before she'd met him, it was easier for him to mess with her, and that kept her off balance and confused. Until she learned to trust in her feelings for him and that made him realise how much she cared for him.
I know it sounds kinda weird, but I liked Patch when he was creepy. Like just before they made tacos and then when the car broke down and they went to the motel (which that check-in guy was hilarious!). Maybe it was because Nora threw him off-kilter during both of those scenes and we got to see more of his true personality.
I loved Hush, Hush! It was amazing, I can't wait to read Crescendo when it comes out. When does it come out anyways? I agree with Holly about Patch's redeeming quality being when Nora sacrificed herself for him and he didn't accept it.
