I liked the idea of this story and the Fontaine brothers are some of my fave characters. The story was diff - girl liking dead sister's boyfriend as they use each other to work through grief. I thought the poems were a unique touch and gave new meaning to "found" poems. But, I don't know. It didnt really stand out for me...

I enjoyed The Sky is Everywhere a lot. You could tell that the author began her writing career as a poet and I thought the messages about how we cope with loss and move on were poignant. I am not sure about its potential as a top award winner, though.
