Just curious to know what your approach to movies is! Do you read the book first if there is a book or do you just go ahead and see the movie?

Melissa (MeLiLuvsBooks) | 3 comments I always prefer to read the book before a movie if there is one it gives you more detail and description of what is goin on......sure u already know what to expect but if they missed some detail in the movie and your confused then youll know what it is cuz youve read the book already. Plus sometimes the book is way better!!

i try to read the book first but half the time, if it's not told in the preview or the such, i don't even know it's based on a book until i see it. the book usually gives you the story details better then the movie does so you know what's happening.

Lol I either hate/ love it when that happens! Like "Yes JUST in time" or no!!!! My idea of the book is going to be ruined!

message 6: by Lauren (new)

Lauren No I never do. I make sure I read the book if it's interesting to me.

Bryn ((B2/B.P)) Ryeosomniac~~ (Heesica) | 54 comments I try to read the book before the movie, but sometimes I find out that it was based on a book after I have watched it.

The book and movie are very similar except they had to cut a few things cause the book was annoyingly long. But I really did prefer th movie

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

I know that feeling! Like I just realized that Breakfast at Tiffany's was apparently a book by Truman Capote so now I just feel so traitorous about watching the movie with Audrey Hepurn
