Always has, always is, and always will be kissing Ethan's asssss!
I really, really hate her. Don't believe I'll ever even begin to like her, even if she sometime in the books tells her sad, heart-wrenching story about having to separate with Ethan for the greater good of the society, even if she's still lovesick with him. UghI'm so Team Merit all the way. Lacey is just one of the most antipathetic characters of the series. Really wish that Chloe would one day write a fight scene with Merit and Lacey. Oh man, I would sooooo like that
LOL! If i were to be truly honest and write what i think about Lacey, I'll be banned from this group and goodreads. So, the more polite version would be... I dislike her. Not just because she was Ethan's past interest, but how she presents herself. In front of Ethan she's all prim and proper, but then she seem like the back-stabbing twit!I too am anticipating the moment when Merit and Lacey face off! I'm also hoping that there's a kissing scene or some affectionate moment between Ethan and Merit (initiated by Ethan) in front of Lacey!
Muhahahahahahaaha!!!!
...I want book 4. and 5. and 6. and 7....
I would have liked to see Lacey written as someone we couldn't help liking. She was the predictable bitch and all, but I can't help but think that making her likable would have made it a little more interesting. Instead we just hate her outright.
Or maybe it's a good thing that she's written that way to show how much Ethan's changed...I like to think that way because frankly if Lacey was likable I would've felt bad for not liking her (cause that's given. Can't like her and keep being firmly in Merit's team.)
Yeah. Oddly enough I like how I dislike her character! It a contrasts to Merit's character and does show how much Ethan has changed since Merit arrived. If she was the likable type (like Mallory and Lindsey) there wouldn't be a conflict of Ethan's affection (Even though we know Merit will win it! LOL!) and we need more female antagonists! Even though its not the same as Celina's level of antagonistic values, Celina can't be the only evil woman!Lacey is like a very well trained dog! What the master says, goes! If she feels threatened - in this case, losing her master/love interest - she'll attack. She's practically Merit's opposite!
from what i heard from friday night bites before we actually get to meet her in twice bitten. she never really talked to anyone really like socialized wit anyone besides luc, ethan, and malik. i mean at least in twice bitten merit is socializing a bit more. and i think with how merit is turning out she will turn out to be one of the strongest vampires ever and she is still young.
wht i didnt like about lacey was her attitude. she really pissed me off. you knoe at first before we met her i thought that i mite like her, in FNB i has this thought that i mite like her, but boy was i wrong. she reminded me of like a spoiler rich girl, not that i knoe if she was one. what i hope that we get is an ethan and merit kiss in front of lacey or even better lacey walking in on them or something. and maybe a lacey and merit cat fight scene like in night huntress book 2, wit cat and annette

I'm stil kind of wondering did Ethan really her or not.Like Lindsey said she was all yes Liege,no Liege...as in total subordinate.
I know a dude could like getting puppy adoration, but is it love?
I think what he liked about her was only that, that she was perfect like when she was very obdient, but it's not love, it's kinda like she is a slave with the yes, liege. no, liege. I think what he has with Merit is him finally wanting to let someone in and care and feel.
