The World of Shannon Hale discussion

Do you think there should be a 5th book? If so who's point of view should it have and what would the plot be?

It should be placed several years after GG, EB, RS, and FB- like when our RP takes place! I personally think that if Shannon caught wind of the RP, she might use it in a Bayern book- though not right now since she's about to pop and everything. lolz 'The Beasties' hahaa.

Yep! But it's highly impossible for Selia to have had a daughter. Unless she had one almost as soon as she married the King of Kel.....

I keep expecting them to say "RAWR" when they come out.

Personally I wanted it to be about Finn (if there ever will be one). But then it wouldn't be a young adult novel :( He'd be in his twenties...

or it could be about finn when he was younger. or about geric or something

but finn's story has really been told in little snippets throughout the other BoB. so with Finn, the only way to go is older....

Geric would be cool. A younger geric- and the story could end when Selia pretends to be Isi....

I was just thinking I'd like to know how those children grow up with parents of the 'speaking' abilities. That would be an adventure and a half. lol

Although, the books seem like they could be getting close to the Circle of Magic (Tamora Pierce)

I don't think Rinna and Conrad should get together. I mean, it would probably work but I just am thinking on the basis of that she should show that not everyone falls in love with the first person they have a relationship with.

Oh, or she could do the man in Yasid who was getting rocks thrown at him. Acts as a trader to go find the wind-speaker, he only remembers what she looks like, he had no idea that she's the queen...mm sounds fun.

Actually, her protaganists don't always end up with the first person they have feelings for. Razo loved Bettin, but she got married and then he met Dasha. Enna "loved" Sileph, but she found out the truth about him and ended up loving Finn even more.

Let's not forget to mention that Rinna liked Wilem (random forest dude) but things didn't go well with him because of her people-speaking. Maybe liking Conrad would add a storyline because she'll be so conflicted about it. But then again, romance novels aren't really Ms. Hale's thing, are they? XD

Yeah, we don't see much of Conrad do we? He's an enigma. He needs a book! Or a novella, short story, something! I'm suddenly very intersted in him.

hmmmm. she should definetly write about some1 when they were younger. or their kids. i like books about kids.
