twilight lovers! discussion

This series is awesome and I have been searching for similar books since a year now. I also read some really bad books like Marked,Wake,Interview with Vampire etc. None of these books were even 1% of this series. Can anyone recommend me some good books like this series.

That is very good as well!!! Obviously he loves her, but not allowed to, she is very innocent and loves him... :)

the vladamir tod series are good and Strange angels series

Evernight series is very good. and you can also go for shiver and linger (The wolves of mercy fall series) by Maggie Stiefvater , That's a good book .its a love story between a girl (human)and a wolf boy.

the night world series is really good and so is the thirst series so far

I really enjoyed Vampire Academy series.

I'm really liking the Blue Blood series

i thought that shiver and linger where kinda like twilight, not in the vampire idea but in the people changing it wolfs. and all of the romance <3

oh i just bought it and a WHOLE bunch of other books because we have to read at least 40 books this school yaer so i guess i'll find out if i ever get to it lol

It has adult content, not like Stephenie Meyer's pulled punches, but Archeron by Sherrilyn Kennyon. It's part of her Dark Hunter series.

I've been looking for a book like twilight for awhile now, but havent really found one, I mean I read evernight, evermore, marked and VA, and those were OK, but I haven't really found one that really gives me the twilight fever....I wish I could find one like that

I had the same problem after reading twilight, books have been good, but have not given me the omg I am completely obsessed over this book/series. So far the closest thing I have found is the Mortal Instruments Series, I am on City of Glass now. Each book gets better, just like Twilight did for me.

Have you read The Host yet? I thought it was very good, like Twilight, but def completely different. I love Stephenies writing style.

Yeah I hoping thats why she hasnt published anything new! She is hopefully too busy with all the movies right now ;)

Well it says that on this site, but I dont know if thats true. I think she mentioned if she wrote a sequel that would be the name...I hope its true! I loved the host

Hi Luxx! You are going to love it, especially if you loved twilight! It's great, I read it quick too. It was my first sci-fi....it's not like star wars or x-files. I do love both but I'm sure you know what I mean!

I wish she would just write something or publish something if it's already written!!

Yep i read evernight series and quite liked it. But its not as good as twilight

so I finally read my blood approves series, it¨s quite entertaining

My friend just told me about that series yesterday. Is it only on an e-reader?

I also read the evernight series. It was quite good but the end was bad. I have read three books of Vampire academy series also. But none of these books were like twilight series. And now after 2 years of searching i doubt i will find any such book :(

Lol....yes we are! I havent even read any of Stephenie Meyers other books so maybe I should give "The Host" a try and see if I like it

Omg The Host is great! It does take a bit to get into similar to Twilight...at least in my experience, but once you are its so great! One of my favroites for sure. I am reading now, the writing style and the simplicity of it reminds me of Beatiful Creatures. I have not been able to get into anything after reading the GREAT Hunger Games trilogy!

I'm wondering if anyone else has read Tuck Everlasting there are no vampires but there ARE some tangential plot element similarities...

Stephen I read it AWHILE ago, like 15 years ago in elementary school! I remember liking it then, maybe I will give it a try once again!

I read FATEFUL by CHERI SCHMIDT and really loved it. I'm reading the second book now and it is titled: FRACTURED. hope you will like it

I loved Nightworld and have read it twice. I just wish they would release the last in the series, last I heard it was going to be released October 2011.

Awesome, I love this author. She wrote another series called the Trylle Trilogy (Switched, Torn, Ascend)that I actually liked better, no vampires but awesome.

Hav y,all read cc hunter books...shadow falls series...got five books..its good...not kind of like twilight...but this is the stories about a girl that try to find what is she....vampy,a were,fae,shapeshifter...she can turn into all the sperntral being...can c ghost..she can revive the dead.actually she was sent to shadow falls camp by her mom where she tought it is the camp for freak without knowing it is a place 4 spernatural being..beside she also have a death angel that protect her...befriends with one witch n vampy...the best part is her love stories...i can say it is hot,,!!she caught between a half fae n a werewolf...both of them adore her n being overprotective toward her..romantic..n,this is the best book for me this time after twilight....just check it out...

i loved them all!!! Most of them are series.

The Host (also by Stephanie Meyer) is really good!
Also Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices (by Cassandra Clare) are really good!

But I didn't really like the Mortal Instruments movie, so if you don't want to read it because you didn't like the movie you should still give it a chance.

Its really different and the movie doesn't even come close to living up to the book (to me at least). Those are my favorites as of right now. Give them a try!
