Oh, I would love to hear Adam ... ; )
I just finished listening to Dreamfever too and it is totally AWESOME! I love both narrators. They put so much emotion into their narrations. I know the girl that does Mac's voice sounds a little old for her but she is an amazing narrator. I really, really, really wish they would redo the first 3 books as well. I have the first 3 but was always cringing when the men's parts came on. She was not able to do a man's voice well at all.

I just finished listening to the Highlander series. I started listening to Lords of the Underworld, but after Phil Gigante no is good enough.
Any recommendations of the like?
Please......no one can compare to Phil Gigante. The man is incomparable. I found some audiobooks he narrated for Christine Feehan's Carpathian series, so I'll definitely buy those versus DTB. Should be interesting to hear Phil without the Scottish accent....
I saw those too. I've never read the Carpathian series, but I only found Phil narrating book #19. Would I be missing too much if I didn't start with book #1?
I have listened to hundreds of ABs, but they do have their down sides. You sure can't dog-ear a page, or easily flip back to WHERE to re-read something?I think publishers ought to let us know on what track a chapter begins.

That's true. I use my iphone, and I can set Itunes to remember position once I have stopped it. It means I can listen to other stuff and then go back to where I stopped.
The main thing is that, when it's just you and the book, if a book is good you'll enjoy it. But when you're listening, the book and the narrator need to be good. Otherwise one element will spoil the other.

I was so disappointed when I first started listening to Darkfever, as the narrator just sounded so old, and it was nothing like I pictured Mac to sound like.
But, OMG, Dreamfever is the best audiobook I've listened to ever! I absolutetly loved having 2 speakers! I just wished they would re-do the first 3 books with the same speakers.
