It is one of thoes books when you read it you think wow this would make a good movie im not sure about the actors though all the images I have in my head dont really go with any actors hhmm lets see... ill think about that one

i have that red that book!!!
Hmmm... I wasn't crazy about the City of Ember; I thought it was kinda like The Giver or something; another one of those creepy futuristic society books. And I didn't really like the characters; they were kinda dull in my opinion...
I totally thought that this would make a great movie! I would love to see some the action scenes done.
I have been trying to cast this book. So far I have:
-Aaron Eckhart as Valentine.- Most recently he was the mayor/ Two Face in Dark Knight.
-Criss Angel as Magnus
I will add my thoughts as time goes on.
OOOOOOOO they so should make a movie lol i would see it on the first day when it comes out. Like what i am doing with Twilight, i don't like the people playing in it but i want to see the movie.
So I came up with a "Jace". Justin Hartley. He was the Green Arrow/Oliver Queen in Smallville. May be a little old though. But I always pictured Jace to look something like him.
lol^^ old yes but they may find away to make him look younger, with the stuff we have these years to change things :D
They should totally make a movie!!! all the detail in the book would be great!!! and as for the characters... idk...
hmmm yeah ... i have no idea. but it could be really cool.omigod i'm so bummed about twilight. the movie, i mean. the trailer was so bad i like fell off my chair laughing. gaaah.

i think if they make a movie of City of Bones, it will be just as big as Twilight... well maybe not... i've gone around school telling people to try reading City of Bones and Ashes and i even took up like a survey of who's read Twilight vs. CoB... they've pretty much all read Twilight... it sucks... i've tried to get ppl to read it but they're too busy with thinking about the movie of Twilight...i just think it would be a really good movie...
Alicia I totally agree Cob would be a great movie. I'll even talk it as a tv show.
lol thx and yes... tv would be good... but too short and i personally like movies better... you can just repetedly watch it in like a few hours and so yea... but tv would be cool... probably leave too many cliffhangers though... ICK
OMG!!!! i have pictured Jace as Justin Hartley too.... Jace and Justin are both so hot lol... but if they make it in2 a movie it would not make any sense b/c i think CoB is longer than Twilight and sqeezing all that in2 like 2 hours wow. but i would totally go watch it
i heard that there is going to be a movie of City of Bones, but idk if it's true. my friend mentioned something about it ... but she said she wasn't sure if it was City of Bones or some other book. sooo i have no idea.
i can't find anything about it on imdb. so maybe my friend was wrong ... or she was talking about something else entirely. idk.
as far as i know it's not going to be a movie ... at least not yet.but it totally should be. it would be such a sick movie, omigod
But can you imagine if they made a movie, and people who hadnt read the book went to see it, could you imagine the looks on their faces (In my imagination its an awesome movie so their all hooked) when they learn Jace and Clary MIGHT be ( I refuse to believe it) brother and sister.

yer i dont think kristen as clary would work. i doubt she'd ever consider it either. i think if alex pettyfer could master an american accent then he could definitely play jace.

Alex Pettyfer is a english actor/modle! Haha And he looks what i thought Jace would look like if he were real!Haha hoped that made sence. Hmm.... Never really thougt about who woudld play the other charters haha and now that you have me thinking about it I have know clue becasue I can't thing of any good teen actors right off hand!
