Personality: hard worker, doesn't like being shown up- in anything, bratty at times, tries to be everyone's friend

Occupation: Student; Linder Miner
History: Sienna has always clung to her father, but after her mother's accident in the mines- which she still blames him for, she has been distancing herself from him. Now that she's considered old enough to travel, she longs to go down to the lowlands to view the gardens- but because of her mother's injuries, she cannot even though the best doctors are down there and would be able to fix her mother up. Sienna considers her only friend now to be her beloved sheephound, Jonna, who the traders brought up the mountain several years ago and was given to her as a birthday present (which was that same day) and her best friend and twin. She thinks being the princess would enable her to bring the doctors her mother needs to her; and she would get to travel the relm.

Personality: Kirsa is sweet and kind and demure when you first meet her, but underneath that exterior iis a freespirited young lady with a love for linder. She is passionate and magnetic and when she smiles. it is genuine and reaches her eyes. She can't lie to save her life and refuses to act like what she's not.
Origins: Her father and his ancestors are from Mount Eskel, but her mother is from a mixture of Mount Eskel, Danland, and the other provinces.
Occupation: Miner and artist.
History: Her love for linder is strong. She likes touching it, carving it, and shaping it. So not only does she mine it, she taught herself to make stuff out of it.
Other: She has a brother
Name: Rein Hedason
Age: 17
Gender: male

Personality: Rein is a little more reserved than his sister Kirsa. History and stories have always interested him and he is a bright intelluctual. He is a marvelous public speaker and can simplify even the most difficult of concepts. His people skills are a little less amazing and he is often distanced from others, prefering to be with his family or close friends.
Origins: Same as Kirsa.
Occupation: Educator.
History: His previous teacher saw potential for him when he was young and took him in as an apprentice. Since then, he (along with a few others) run the makeshift little school on Mount Eskel, teaching miners how to read and write and do math. He dreams of going to Danland and the great libraries there.
Other: Kirsa is obviously his sister.

Some monks down in Danland said that the bride of the next king would be found on Mt. Eskel, where Miri and her friends live. So all of the girls in a specific age margrin were sent to a school to learn how to read and write. Miri learned that the traders were ripping them off when it came to buying linder and they basically stood up to them and said, "We know that you've been cheating us, and we demand better treatment.
I believe that was it. -shrugs-

Personality: Happy-go-lucky, compassionate, helpful, sacrifices for other, her secret side: practices daggers, pretecer. yeah
Origins: Mother and Father met in Danland, they moved to Eskel to raise children, didn't like the life they were brought up to. They passed away from and epidemic when she was 9 and she lives with her Grandmother now. Karri has an older who is married and has a little girl named Wren.
Occupation: Dad was a baker, lives with her grandmother who was a farmer's wife. Her brother is the baker.
History: uh not much mostly in origins.

Oh, goody. *Rubs hands together and plans to take over the world* Name: Eric Hegeson
Age: 18
Gender:Male
Appearance: He is short and constantly teased for it. Light unkempt hair, that sweeps in front of his eyes, which are a warm brown.
Personality: His eyes might be warm but his personality... Blech. He is a bit of a snob and is disgusted with Mount Eskel. He considers himself above everyone and thus, is kind of lonely.
Origins: Lowlander! From the capitol where Britta and Stefan rule.
Occupation: He tries the quarry but it is too rough on his soft, lowlander, hands. He was taken on as an apprentice for the local carpenter. As he is unaccustomed to work he annoys the carpenter to no end so he probably will end up being fired... But for now, he is grudgingly working with wood.
History: He used to live a noble life as a lowlander but he was sent, due to unacceptable behavior, to the mountains. He doesn't really like the mountains much.
Other: He is estranged from his family and lives in a little hut on his own.

Personality: Dagur's name means "Day" and it surely fits him. He has a very sunny disposition and makes friends with anyone he meets. He's a very genuine person, but he doesn't know how to express it when someone is making him angry or upset. He got this way because Sienna was the exact opposite and, even though he loves her dearly, he didn't really want to be like her. He is a definite people person. Dagur sometimes feels protective over his sister, but not often because he knows that she can handle herself.
Origins: Same as Sienna's.
History: After his mother's accident, Dagur seems strained. He feels that his family's falling apart.He hates the silences at dinner andhow his mother is suffering from her serious injuries. He's considering going into trade, where he can learn and aquire skills and knowledge to heal her, even though he loves minework.
Other: He's good friends with Rein :P
BTW whilst looking for names, I found out that Peder's name means "A stone." XD And Leifer means "Descendant, heir"
