Do you know how much money we spend on packaging alone? How much we could save (not just money, resources, the enviroment) if we got rid of some of the pointless packaging?

i agree, our culture is packaging obsessed.
at time? how about all the time!
They packaged, packaged sculepy!!Sculpey is an oven bake clay and they put plastic around each two ounce container/six oz. block/ whatever.
But then they go and instea dof just using like a rubber band to hold it together they intensly package 5 different 1 oz bars with the fancy plastic that had the annoying edges!!

I would be okay with a couple thousand bits of plastic that are recycled endlessly, but not with a couple thousand bits thrown into the trash every single day.
GOSH I HATE STYROFOAM. YOU CAN'T RECYCLE IT OR REFORM IT OR BIODEGRADE IT. D:

maybe not potato sacks (those are itchy) but reusable grocery bags (or plastic bags used from stores where you can recycle them)
