Vegan Freaks! discussion

I haven't totally become a vegan yet but I suppose it will not be too big a deal for my parents and family. Maybe for the extended family. Rural farmers you know. Haha!
Friends already know how I feel so probably not too big a deal either. My parents freaked when I became a lacto-ovo-veggie. So did my work mates. "Where are you going to get protien?" Haha, it sounds so funny to me. Lack of information is all it is. Sometimes people would egg me on because I would get so frustrated. One guy told me he admired my passion. Made me feel good.

They knew it was coming, I had made it clear that my initial goal in adopting a vegetarian lifestyle was that eventually I'd go vegan. Most of my family is cool with it, not really surprised. Certain individuals blame my radicalism and others think it's because I'm just a "sensitive woman" *eyeroll* but everyone's extremely supportive. Most of my friends are veg*n, so I've got a comfy vegan life. It comes easily, I suppose.
