Any or all of them... mine, I mean. :) Ask away!

message 2: by Mrs. Missive (new)

Mrs. Missive (MrsMissive) Okay...I will get the ball rolling here!! I tend to get very off topic, but I will try to be good here.

Selena...I LOVE your Babysitting the Baumgartner's series. We have come to recommend BTB to nearly everyone who joins our Kindle Smut group. (As you know)

Make sure to let us know when the next one comes out. And I noticed that you have a little sex toy love from your latest installment. Any new toys going to be featured in upcoming tales?

Selena Kitt (selenakitt) | 31 comments Mod
Can't thank the Kindle Smut group enough for the BTB endorsement! :)

Actually, now that you mention it, the next installment of the Baumgartner series (Baumgartner Generations: Henry) features quite a unique sex toy - the Fleshlight. It's actually a toy for guys! I'll be giving one away along with a print version of the book in a contest when the new release is out in October, so keep an eye out!

HOMG, you're writing Henry's story? Thank God I joined this Q&A group, so that I could hear that news and squee with anticipation.

Sorry to squee on you, Selena. I'm embarrassed that this is the first thing I've ever said to you. Should proabably also say other things like...uh...I love your work!

Yep, Henry's story will be out in October '10, feel free to squee! Squee is good!

And thanks for the compliments... love those too! Ha :)

Mrs. Missive (MrsMissive) Cripes! October? That's my Bday month...Happy birthday to me! I get Henry!!!!

And Yeah...the boy needs a fleshlight. ;p

message 7: by Heather in FL (new)

Heather in FL (heather_fl) I hope the boy gets a decent girl this time. That girl from BTB Reunion was not good enough for him. :-) I mean heck, she's the one that went out with the rascal that Janie was "seeing". Granted, that wasn't her fault. She didn't know. Still...not good enough for our Henry. :-)

message 8: by Selena (new)

Selena Kitt (selenakitt) | 31 comments Mod
Yep, October 8 is Henry's release date... and I agree, Henry definitely needs a good girl! (of course, "good" is always relative... ;)

xoxo
Selena

message 9: by Heather in FL (new)

Heather in FL (heather_fl) Well yes, when I say "good" I mean good for him, not necessary good in the Catholic sense of the word, lol!

message 10: by Mrs. Missive (new)

Mrs. Missive (MrsMissive) Well hell there we go...give him a catholic school girl!

message 11: by Heather in FL (new)

Heather in FL (heather_fl) Heck, why not???

message 12: by Selena (new)

You're not getting any spoilers from me! :P

Meet The Baumgartners by Selena Kitt

Carrie swore off men after a relationship-gone-bad in her freshman year of college and is perfectly happy with her roommate and lover, Maureen - until she discovers Steve Baumgartner ("Call me 'Doc,' everybody does") in a very compromising - and decidedly sexy - position. Meeting Doc complicates things, but when Maureen's very-religious boyfriend becomes a real threat and the gang goes to Key West for summer break, Carrie finds herself swept away by circumstance into a whirlwind of lust and sexual discovery.

If you've read Babysitting the Baumgartners, A Baumgartner Reunion, or Baumgartner Generations: Janie, you'll love this prequel to the series. If you've never read any of them - Meet the Baumgartners! Your life will never be the same again!

Mrs. Missive (MrsMissive) Well thank goodness I have a kindle! Of course I bought it.

Charlotte Stein (charlottestein) | 3 comments Hey- just curious...is Henry's story still coming out October 8th? I thought it was October 4th and went to check today, but I don't see it listed anymore?

Had to sacrifice my Henry spot due to a production snafu, unfortunately :( New release date is November 12!

message 18: by Charlotte (new)

Charlotte Stein (charlottestein) | 3 comments And now I realise just how much I want to read it. A whole month extra seems like an age! Damn!

But thanks for letting me know, Selena.

message 19: by Rossy (new)

Rossy (naughtybookjunkie) | 4 comments Selena, will you be writing a sequel for Naughty Bits or Under Mr. Nolan's bed? The ending left me wanting more!

message 20: by Selena (new)

Selena Kitt (selenakitt) | 31 comments Mod
Yes, for both actually! Look for the sequel to Under Mr. Nolan's Bed in January 2011 and Naughty Bits in June 2011.

message 21: by Rossy (new)

Rossy (naughtybookjunkie) | 4 comments Yes! Do you have a title for either book, i want to make sure to add it here so that i don't forget.

message 22: by Selena (new)

Selena Kitt (selenakitt) | 31 comments Mod
Nolan Confessions and Naughty Bonds... but they're tentative titles - covers haven't been made yet :)

message 23: by Rossy (new)

Rossy (naughtybookjunkie) | 4 comments Then i'll wait before i add them here. Thanks Selena!

message 24: by Tricia (new)

Tricia Today's the day! Henry's book came out today, and I eagerly went to Amazon to download it, only to find it wasn't there. Is Excessica the only place we can download it right now?

message 25: by Selena (new)

Selena Kitt (selenakitt) | 31 comments Mod
Kindle takes 24 hours for a book to show up once it's uploaded - so our uploader does all the books Friday (she actually starts late Thurs night) - they go up immediately on Excessica (and places like All Romance Ebooks, Bookstrand - the smaller booksellers) but Amazon, B&N and Borders (the big guys) take a day or so to process. So if you want it RIGHT NOW it will have to be Excessica or one of the little guys :) If you can wait a day, you can 1-click it.

message 26: by Tricia (new)

Tricia Thanks so much for the quick reply, Selena - do you get a bigger percentage if I buy from the little guys? If so, do you know what format I'd need to download for my Kindle? Thanks!

message 27: by Selena (new)

Selena Kitt (selenakitt) | 31 comments Mod
I get the full sale from excessica, and 50-60% from the little guys. :)

You'd need the mobi or prc file for Kindle.

message 28: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca Hey Selena,

Is there a difference between the older version of "Under Mr. Nolan's Bed" and the new revised version?

what's been revised?

message 29: by Heather in FL (new)

Heather in FL (heather_fl) You can still get the original version on other sites like Fictionwise, in case you weren't aware.

message 30: by Heather in FL (new)

Heather in FL (heather_fl) Is it DRM-free on B&N?

message 31: by Heather in FL (last edited Dec 16, 2011 10:54AM) (new)

Heather in FL (heather_fl) Fictionwise is a WONDERFUL place, by the way... every Saturday, they usually have a discount code. The only books it doesn't work on are those published by Samhain. You even get whatever the percentage is off of their new releases, which are usually already discounted 15% for the first week.

DRM is digital rights management. It's what makes most ebooks sold from Amazon only usable on Kindle and most books sold from B&N only usable on the Nook, etc. If the book does not have DRM, it can play on any device. How you get it to your device depends on the device, but they have instructions on Fictionwise (I think) on how to do it.

There's also open source software, Calibre (calibre-ebook.com) that simplifies the process. I plug my Kindle into the computer, Calibre recognizes it, and I can choose a book (or books) I've loaded to Calibre and push it to my Kindle with a button. You can also convert books (as long as they're not DRM-protected), though if you have a Nook, you probably don't have to worry about that since it already uses ePub. Kindle uses mobi/prc, and there's one site I know of that only sells ePub. But it's nice I can still get them and convert them with Calibre.

So anyhoo...while Fictionwise sells some DRM protected books (in the formats for a book, you'll see the word "secure"), if you buy the unsecured formats you don't have to worry about whether you have a Kindle or a Nook... you can use them, no matter your device.

HTH!

Epic Sex Stories (epicsexstories) | 3 comments I heard about you from an article about Amazon censorship and am stunned by the praise your readers give you. But you're written so many! What are your most popular books to get me started?
