Selena...I LOVE your Babysitting the Baumgartner's series. We have come to recommend BTB to nearly everyone who joins our Kindle Smut group. (As you know)
Make sure to let us know when the next one comes out. And I noticed that you have a little sex toy love from your latest installment. Any new toys going to be featured in upcoming tales?
Can't thank the Kindle Smut group enough for the BTB endorsement! :)
Actually, now that you mention it, the next installment of the Baumgartner series (Baumgartner Generations: Henry) features quite a unique sex toy - the Fleshlight. It's actually a toy for guys! I'll be giving one away along with a print version of the book in a contest when the new release is out in October, so keep an eye out!

HOMG, you're writing Henry's story? Thank God I joined this Q&A group, so that I could hear that news and squee with anticipation.
Sorry to squee on you, Selena. I'm embarrassed that this is the first thing I've ever said to you. Should proabably also say other things like...uh...I love your work!
Yep, Henry's story will be out in October '10, feel free to squee! Squee is good!
And thanks for the compliments... love those too! Ha :)

And Yeah...the boy needs a fleshlight. ;p

Yep, October 8 is Henry's release date... and I agree, Henry definitely needs a good girl! (of course, "good" is always relative... ;)

Carrie swore off men after a relationship-gone-bad in her freshman year of college and is perfectly happy with her roommate and lover, Maureen - until she discovers Steve Baumgartner ("Call me 'Doc,' everybody does") in a very compromising - and decidedly sexy - position. Meeting Doc complicates things, but when Maureen's very-religious boyfriend becomes a real threat and the gang goes to Key West for summer break, Carrie finds herself swept away by circumstance into a whirlwind of lust and sexual discovery.
If you've read Babysitting the Baumgartners, A Baumgartner Reunion, or Baumgartner Generations: Janie, you'll love this prequel to the series. If you've never read any of them - Meet the Baumgartners! Your life will never be the same again!

LIMITED RELEASE - A KINDLE EXCLUSIVE!

Charlotte
Had to sacrifice my Henry spot due to a production snafu, unfortunately :( New release date is November 12!

But thanks for letting me know, Selena.

Yes, for both actually! Look for the sequel to Under Mr. Nolan's Bed in January 2011 and Naughty Bits in June 2011.

Nolan Confessions and Naughty Bonds... but they're tentative titles - covers haven't been made yet :)

Kindle takes 24 hours for a book to show up once it's uploaded - so our uploader does all the books Friday (she actually starts late Thurs night) - they go up immediately on Excessica (and places like All Romance Ebooks, Bookstrand - the smaller booksellers) but Amazon, B&N and Borders (the big guys) take a day or so to process. So if you want it RIGHT NOW it will have to be Excessica or one of the little guys :) If you can wait a day, you can 1-click it.

I get the full sale from excessica, and 50-60% from the little guys. :)
You'd need the mobi or prc file for Kindle.

Is there a difference between the older version of "Under Mr. Nolan's Bed" and the new revised version?
what's been revised?

DRM is digital rights management. It's what makes most ebooks sold from Amazon only usable on Kindle and most books sold from B&N only usable on the Nook, etc. If the book does not have DRM, it can play on any device. How you get it to your device depends on the device, but they have instructions on Fictionwise (I think) on how to do it.
There's also open source software, Calibre (calibre-ebook.com) that simplifies the process. I plug my Kindle into the computer, Calibre recognizes it, and I can choose a book (or books) I've loaded to Calibre and push it to my Kindle with a button. You can also convert books (as long as they're not DRM-protected), though if you have a Nook, you probably don't have to worry about that since it already uses ePub. Kindle uses mobi/prc, and there's one site I know of that only sells ePub. But it's nice I can still get them and convert them with Calibre.
So anyhoo...while Fictionwise sells some DRM protected books (in the formats for a book, you'll see the word "secure"), if you buy the unsecured formats you don't have to worry about whether you have a Kindle or a Nook... you can use them, no matter your device.
HTH!
