LeafStar walked on a branch to his den. He was tired.

Sorrelleaf looked around and saw Leafstar, "Welcome back," she purred.

Leafstar nodded. "Thanks." He sighed. "I caught you a squrill and a bird."

"Thank you," Sorrelleaf meowed.

Leafstar nodded and walked to his den.

Sorrelleaf went back to the elder's den and went to sleep.

Raindrop poked Sorrelleaf.

Sorrelleaf opened her eyes, "Oh hello Raindrop," Sorrelleaf meowed.

Raindrop smiled at her best freind. "How's Leafstar?" She looked at her paws. "I have akcing jonts couldn't go oit."

"He's doing good just tired when I greeted him," Sorrelleaf smiled, "Being a leader isn't easy."

Raindrop nodded my father was leader of Thunderclan."

"My father was a warrior," Sorrelleaf meowed.

Raindrop nodded. "Where is Icefang that useless clump of fur." She called for her mate.

"What did I tell you about the insults?" Icefang meowed walking out of the shadows of the trees.

Raindrop smiled. "I never mean it."

"Really?" Icefang said sarcasticly.

Raindrop rolled her eyes. "Well better get back to Dropkit." She got up and walked to the nursery.

Sorrelleaf smiled,"Alright bye," she meowed.

Leafstar grabbed a robin and walked to the elders den. "Here." He put it in front of Sorrelleaf.

Sorrelleaf looked at Leafstar, "Thank you but I also could have caught my own prey," she smiled.

Leafstar rolled his eyes. "Consider this your day off." He smiled.

"I think it's you who needs a day off you look tired," Sorrelleaf purred.

Leafstar shrugged. "I am." He purred. "Being a leader of a brand knew clan is tough." He sighed. "Did you here that Miststar died? Swanbeak is now Swanstar."

"No I didn't hear about that what happened?" Sorrelleaf looked at Leafstar.

Leafstar sighed. "The camp of their's caught fire and she died saving a kit."

Sorrelleaf's pupils grew smaller, "How could it have caught on fire!" she meowed.

Leafstar shrugged. "A twoleg."

"I always hated them but your father was once a kittypet until he became a rogue and I fell in love with him and I'm sorry I never told you that," Sorrelleaf smiled.

Leafstar looked at him. "I'm half kittypet?"

"Well you still have warrior blood in you but it doesn't matter you're my son and I'm proud of the way you are," Sorrelleaf meowed.

Leafstar nodded. "I know."

Sorrelleaf got up and licked Leafstar's ear, "Your father would have been so proud of you," she smiled.

"Is he dead?" Leafstar asked.

"Well I actually don't know but I always thought he was killed by something but I just don't know if he's out there somewhere, you would have loved him," Sorrelleaf meowed.

Leafstar smiled. "I would of." He got up and walked away.

Redwillow jumped quickly from branch to branch, "Sparrow Attack!" she cried with an egg in her mouth.

Leafstar bolted out to help Redwillow. He saw a sparrow and pounced on it. He killed it and walked up to REdwillow.

"Thanks I kind of took it's egg and it chased me around," Redwillow smiled.

Leafstar rolled his eyes.

Redwillow gave the egg to Leafstar, "I actually got it for you," she smiled.

Leafstar purred. "Thanks I'm starved." He grasped the egg.

Redwillow laughed, "You didn't go hunting yet did you?" she smiled.

Leafstar shook his head.

Redwillow smiled, "I already hunted and since you were so busy I got that for you."

Leafstar whipped his tail as thanks.

Redwillow's smile disappeared,"You know ever since we were kits I always had a crush on you and I've never told you but I really like you Leafstar," Redwillow looked back up at Leafstar.

Leafstar nodded. "I love you also Redwillow. But I am a leader. I'm taking a important roll. I can't handle a mate right now. But soon. If I want a mate you will be her." He licked her nose.
