Legend listened carefully. "...hm...Well headstrong woman, against Super headstrong sister. I'll send D out there and see what she can do."
Destiny was already listening. "I'm on my way Legend!"

She drove to Jan's house and met up with Xavier there. "So this lady needs some sine? I can so give her that."

Legend listened carefully. "...hm...Well keep trying. Get creative Xav. I want that story."

"Talk into talking to us. Or just have a battle of the wills."

"Oh get some confidence Xav. You're great too."

Destiny patted his shoulder. "No problem."
She knocked on the door.
"GO AWAY."
"Oh, but ma'am, I need to ask you a few things."
"Well I don't want to answer."
"Please! If you don't my big brother will kick me off the paper and I'll be unemployed...and...and...I have 5 kids and a disabled husband who can't find work so I need this job!" Destiny lied, sobbing.
There was silence and then she woman opened the door. "Well why don't you come on in then Ms?"
Destiny smiled sadly. "Thank you." She stepped into the house, but Jane wouldn't let Xav in.
"Wait, Ma'am this is my partner, Xavier. He's really shy so he won't talk much and he sure won't get in the way."
She woman grunted but let Xavier in.

Destiny silently credited Xav on his shy performance. Then sure turned to Jane. "May we sit down please?" Jane nodded and showed them the living room. Destiny took a seat on the couch.
"So ma'am-"
"Call me Jane."
"Oh sorry. So Jane, I heard you saw a UFO."
"You bet. Right over by Lincoln park, 2 nights ago. Bis and saucer-like, with a glowing green beam ready to suck me up." Destiny looked to see if Xav was getting all this.

Jane glared at Xav in return.
"Where did you see it?"
"I told you, Lincoln Park. Right by the big statue of Abraham Lincoln."
"Around what time?"
Jane thought. "I'd say about midnight."
Destiny gave Xav an uneasy look. "why were you there at midnight?"
"That's my business."
"Jane, my kids. Please."
"I said, that's my business." Jane looked at the clock and jumped up. "I'll be right back."
"Where are you going?"
"I need to take my meds." then she scurried off to the kitchen. Destiny looked at Xav. "....I think she's crazy...." she whispered.

Jane glared at him, then at Destiny. "I thought you said he didn't talk."
"I said he didn't talk much."
"well he doesn't talk or i doesn't talk."
Destiny calmly ripped a blank page from his notebook, crumpled it and stuck it in Xav's mouth. "he won't talk. You were saying?"
"i was saying that it was my business."
"Please Jane. My kids."
Jane glared at her, then took a nasty looking piece of paper from her pocket. She handed it to Destiny. "I was on an internet dating thing-a-ma-whatsit and this man told me to meet him there."
"At midnight? Wasn't that a little...trippy?"
"I don't question love!"

Destiny gave the paper to Xav after glancing at it. It was a printed sheet, from someone named DancingKingLovesDance and had all the info Jane had just said.
"....Who's the...guy in real life?"
"I don't know. Didn't git to meet him. He downright stood me up at the park, and then I heard some choppers and looked up to see a big UFO starin' back at me."

Destiny tapped him back, except on his forehead and much harder.
"....Could you help us with something?"
"Depends on what it is."
"A stakeout. To find this man, and see what's up with him."
"I like the way you think Miss. Go on."
"Actually, my partner is better with the plans then I am, so if you don't mind he can take it from here."
Jane grunted, but turned to Xavier expectantly.

Destiny whispered back. "I only did that because I know you could do it."
Jane narrowed her eyes. "But whta if Dancin'King is an alien that was sent to abduct meh for testing!"
"Jane, if he is, I'll make sure me and my partner are the abducted ones."
"Then you hav yerself a deal."

Destiny stood. "Yes we really should get going. Thank you so much Jane." jane smiled at Destiny. "No problim. Im just happeh to help a young girl in need." she gave a final glare at Xavier, then shoved them out the door.
"Xav, I think she likes you." Destiny teased as she got in her car.
