Destiny came in, walking past Mike. After she was 10 feet away, she revealed that she'd gotten the key cards from him. Without waiting, she took the elevator to their room.
Destiny came in, walking past Mike. After she was 10 feet away, she revealed that she'd gotten the key cards from him. Without waiting, she took the elevator to their room.
Destiny got out without saying anything to Mike. But behind her, she'd written on the elevator wall.
'no funny business'.
'no funny business'.
Destiny sat on her bed, staring at nothing. It was weird, being so serious and angry. She was usually the happy one, the one that was easy going and ready to tackling you in a hug. She thought of telling Mike she was sorry at 7, but the thought of swallowing her pride made her gag and get a bitter after taste. So she took out her laptop and started checking some stuff about the possible war coming up.
Destiny picked up a pool cue, but didn't really want to play. Instead she examined it, trying to find out how good of a weapon it would make.
'If only I had one of these instead of a gun.' she thought. Then another realization came to her.
'OH shoot! i forgot my gun in my purse in my room!' she decided to keep that a secret from Mike.

Destiny facepalmed. 'Why does the universe hate me so?' she thought. Destiny had to think fast. She hit the floor, crying uncontrollably.
"No! I'm...I'm too young to die!" she wailed. One of the men came up to her and kicked her. "get up lady."
Sniffling, Destiny struggled to her feet. The man looked wild, ready to shoot if she even sneezed. But his stance was all wrong, and she could take his gun in a number of ways. Blubbering, she raised her hands. Then she tackled him, catching him off guard and getting his gun from him easily. She shot him in the knee, so he wouldn't get up again, then aimed at any man near her.
"Any other idiots who want to attack me?"
Instead there was a gun shot, and destiny hit the ground again. Another wild looking man came up to her, throwing a lame punch. She disarmed him and in a flurry of quick movements, had him knocked out.
She gave Mike the man's gun, then hit the ground again and hid behind a table as they began to fire. "Come on smart guy." She grunted, as a bullet narrowly missed her head. "I don't think I can do this on my own."

"No time. We already have fully loaded guns anyway." She ran behind the bar, and into the back where they kept the fancy wine.
"We should have a few seconds of safety. Tell me what the Chinese man told you. And if we have a lead onto where Dish is."

"Abbi watched from a distance leaning against a wall. she was curious but decided out wise of approaching them
Abbi walked towards them. "We need to get out of here."
Destiny looked at Abbi. "Are you mad! We need to distract the angry gunmen out there first, or we're history!" She processed what Mike told her.
"He's lactose intolerant. That....doesn't help very much. If we're close enough to force some ice cream down his throat, we're dead."

Abbi put her hands on her hips. "Were going to be history if we don't go now."
Abbi just shook her head. "What ever You want to do. " She whispered, more to her self then any body else.
Abbi nodded at teh plan, "I'll grab yours to," She yelled over her shoulder as she ran.
Destiny was already in her room. She grabbed her things, glad that she hadn't fully unpacked yet. she could hear the footsteps of the angry men, running to find them. "A can catch up, but I have to go NOW." With that she jumped through the window, landing on a chair of the outside lobby below.
Destiny nodded. "Yeah fine. She got up from the chair, taking the cushions with her to use as bullet protection. very bad protection, but still protection.
"We have to get away from here." she stopped a taxi, pulling Michael in behind her. She told the driver to floor it, and she'd pay him at the destination. She put a cushion behind his head, so the men couldn't shoot him down and block off their getaway.

"Tell me what you THINK is going on, and I'll let you know when you're wrong."
She cringed as a bullet whizzed through the glass, leaving a hole.
"HURRY UP DRIVER GUY."

"HURRY UP DRIVER GUY."
"You did. They just...got more people I guess. I don't know what lengths Dish will go to kill us. And the weird part is, he seems familiar to me. Not just because of the French files, but...like...a hazy memory from I was young."
She tumbled into the window as the driver took a sharp turn.

".....What?!?"
Just then, the driver stopped and asked for his money. Destiny paid him in a daze, and shoved Mike out of the car.
"How on earth could we be related!!!!!"

"But....but that's...." she mentally slapped herself. She'd been mad at Mike, and mutely forgave him, and here he was just coming up with nonsense again. She charged into the cafe.
"That's impossible. I don't know why I keep talking to you; all you say is pretty much nonsense." she said stoically, and backed him. "Now come on, we don't have much time."
She whipped out her phone and made a call.
"Antoine? Ah, bonjour! Rappelez-vous que grâce que vous me devez? bien, c'est maintenant le moment idéal pour le rembourser." she said in perfect, hurried French. ((google it!))
"Est-ce que le Destin? Ma fille, comment avez-vous été! Comment allez-vous-"
"Nous n'avons pas le temps Antoine! Il suffit de faire un appel à euh ..."
she checked the phone number of the cafe. "555-5555 et dites-leur de me laisser dans l'arrière-salle. ils vont vous écouter!"
"Bien sûr, mais vous devez me raconter l'histoire derrière cela plus tard. Pour l'instant, au revoir Destiny ma douce."
Destiny hung up and walked over to the front desk, where they were receiving a call. The woman behind the desk gasped and hung up, then yanked both Destiny and Mike's hands to deep into the restaurant.
They stopped in what seemed to be a bunker, with an exit and food supply.
Destiny thanked the woman, "I'm so glad Antoine was able to reach you."
"Yes you should be. If not, you might have been dead....or worse. "
"I will repay you. That is a vow."
"I appreciate it. May your souls be blessed on your journey."
"Thank you. Thank you so very much."
Then the woman was gone, and it was just Destiny and Mike in the bunker.

"That's simple." Destiny said in her "im in charge" voice. "We just have to...to..." she choked on her words, as reality began to hit her. Dish really wanted her and Mike dead. She thought for a while before a small smile began to form on her lips.
"We just have to outsmart Dish."
"We just have to outsmart Dish."
"I never said i wanted to go there. Don't put words in my mouth." Destiny frowned. "Dish is clever enough to figure out that we would do that...no we have to be really unpredictable."
"...hmmm..." Destiny hummed. "That sounds ideal...but wait, it may not work. Dish will be expecting us to leave the country; he'll have people posted at the airports."
"Actually, yes, I do." Destiny grinned. "You've underestimated my connections again, silly Mikey." She said, whipping out her phone.
Destiny quickly dialed a number, this time speaking Italian.
"Ciao, Ezio? È il destino e tu ancora mi devi un favore .... io sono in Europa e ho bisogno di uscire. Senza Dish me trovare noi ... ehm .... Sì, il piatto .... e no, non ti posto in contanti. Sei ancora in debito con me dalla cosa a Parigi." she grinned evilly as a rushed answer was blurted on the other end of the speaker.
"Non ti preoccupare, che segreto è al sicuro con me ..... ho bisogno di te qui in 10 minuti .... di fronte a qualche cosa Cafe-er-altri .... Ho ancora un GPS nel mio dente, solo pista !.... Grazie Ezio, io vi mando il mio amore! Arrivederci!"
She closed the phone and grabbed Mike's wrist and shoved him toward the exit. "We have a ride, and things will move quicker if you don't ask questions." she ordered.

"I could've sworn that I said don't ask questions." Destiny muttered, following Mike out the door. They were behind the restaurant, in an alley. "Ezio..." she growled when suddenly, a shiny new BMW seemed to appear out of no where. "Ezio, thank God." Destiny sighed. "Quick, in the car." She said to Mike, slippng in the passenger seat.
Destiny had picked up mindless chatter with Ezio, and she turned back to Mike. "Alright fine. Fire away."
