Songs of Power discussion

This is perhaps only the second book I have read about Native culture(the first being A yellow raft on blue water.) I think I would have liked this book more if not for Imina's contempt for science. I mean, she uses logic to figure out who the "magic-makers" are. It isn't to the extent that she hates techonlogy, rather she dislikes some scientists for saying Magic doesn't exist.
