And another "new" topic....I love those ones with the bicycles. He and Nelson get into such trouble with them....it's neat that they mention bikes in more than one episode (I think)--a nice bit of continuity.

yeah I like the ep. when they do "surgery" on the tire! its really funny!

Littlejohn is an eccentric fellow: he loves bikes, he can fight, he is blindly and violently loyal to his friends, and he is s stumble bum to boot. I have not studied his character as much as the others, but I am appreciating him more and more as I notice things about him. It's so funny that he is just one inch taller than Hanley and he gets the nickname "big ox". Maybe that's because he really is clumsy. There were episodes where I wondered why he even was a PFC at all because of the stupid things he did (he's not always stupid) especially in the episode "Birthday Cake". Don't get me wrong, for all the dumb ox-ness in him, I still like Littlejohn.

I think what I like about him is that he seems so friendly, good-natured, and down to earth (sometimes). Not that the others aren't, but he just seems like an all around nice guy.

Here I am thinking that everyone looked up the height of each actor on IMDB and committed it to memory, but I am just overly obsessive. For those of you who have not:

Sarge: 5' 9"
Kirby: 5' 9"
Caje: 5' 10"
Doc: 5' 11"
Lt. Hanley: 6' 4"
Littlejohn: 6' 6"
Billy: not on IMDB, but I guess 5'10"

I was off by an inch with Hanley v. Littlejohn.
