Vittaria woke suddenly. Her wet clothes rubbed uncomfortably against her skin, and some sand had managed to find it's way into her mouth, eyes, and clothes. She got up unsteadily, taking in her surroundings curiously. "Bristan?" she called warily. The sound of waves filled the silence. She began to walk toward the treeline, hoping she'd find shelter and her brother.

The roaring of the waves woke Bristan. The sand was warm beneath his well-toned muscles. He stood and stretched luxuriously, and saw his sister in the distance. "Taria!" he called, but the sound was lost in the roar of the waves. Grudgingly, he set off after his sister.
