Forever a Warrior discussion

Adderclaw padded uncertantly into the Moonstone. She ordered the three apprentices to stay out. She drank abit of the water and put her head to the beautiful stone. Sleep washed through her at once. She winced in pain as she began receiving her nine lives.

Snakepaw guarded it.

Ivypaw sat down outside Mothermouth. She occasionally casted anxious glances into it.

Snakepaw kept guarding.

Wildstar dipped his head.

Adderclaw didnt know what to say. "I'm sorry, Wildstar. How will I lead without you?"

"You will do good. I give you your last life. I give you the gift of compassity. Use it well."

Adderclaw nodded slowly.

Wildstar dipped his head then began to fade.

"No!" Adderclaw murmured.

((oops.)) "Adderstar! Adderstar!" he said, with all the other cats joining in. Then he and all of them faded.

Adderstar woke up. She padded out of the Moonstone without looking back.

Snakepaw smiled at her. "How did it go?" she asked.

"Its went fine," Adderstar mewed. "Lets go back."

Ivypaw looked up at Adderstar.

Snakepaw nodded.

Adderstar started going down hill, but paused when she heard her stomach growl. "You must all b ehungry, lets hunt."

Snakepaw nodded and ran off.

"Meet here when you're done!" she called after Snakepaw.

Ivypaw nodded and padded after Snakepaw.

Snakepaw saw a mouse. She began to stalk towards it, carfully putting her paws in the right place.

Ivypaw started stalking a vole.

Snakepaw pounced on it and killed it in one swift bite.

Ivypaw shot forward, but missed it.

Snakepaw walked back slowly, the mouse dangling between her jaws.

Ivypaw sighed. The prey is probably all gone... she sighed, padding back up to Adderstar.

Snakepaw saw Ivypaw coming and asked, "Want to share?"

Rainflight padded over to Adderstar. "How're you feeling?" ((sorry, didn't realize you made this topic!!))

Snakepaw looked up.

"Me?" Adderstar asked. "Fine. WHat aboiut you? Were you bored out of your mind?" she teased him playfully.

Rainflight gently nudged her fur. "Hardly. You looked so... in pain. It was hard to bear."

Ivypaw padded back up empty-handed.

"It was painful," Adderstar confessed. "But the last one was the best."

Adderstasr looked at Ivypaw and smiled. "i must have hunted all of the prey here," she gestured to her the huge vole and rabbit she caught. "When everyone returns, we will have enough for all of us."

Ivypaw nodded sadly.

Snakepaw said, "And I caught a mouse!" she said.

Ivypaw stared at the ground shamefully.

Snakepaw looked around.

Adderstar smiled. "That good. Snakepaw, you can eat your mouse, Ivypaw, you can share with Firepaw the rabbit, and me and Rainflight will eat the vole." Adderstar decided, hoping that it was fare.

Ivypaw shook her head. "I-I c-cant..."

Adderstar bekoned her and padded a bit farther awway. "Yes?" she asked, knowing that Ivypaw might want to say this privatly.

Ivypaw sighed, padding after her leader. "I-I d-d-don't th-think I'm c-c-cut out to b-b-be a warrior, A-A-Adderstar," she mewed softly.

"Why not?" Adderstar asked kindly, savouring each and every of Ivypaw's words. "You can't stay an apprenttice forever!" she said, meaning it as a joke.
