The Next Best Book Club discussion

Please read the rules for nominating BEFORE you create your post!! And Check our bookshelves to be sure you are not nominating something we have already read as a group!

We will have two catagories this month:
Cat1- Regular Fiction/Non-Fiction
Cat2- Women Authors Theme

* This months theme was one of the more popular suggestions in the Genre thread.


Only ONE nomination per person.
If you nominate a book for catagory 1, you CANNOT nominate a book for catagory 2, and visa versa.

Please be sure to post the title, author, and the catagory it belongs to.

If your post does not have those three things, it will not be counted.

I will accept nominations through Friday evening. If we get tons of nominations, I may pull the plug on it a little early, so get them in as soon as you can!

Once I close nominations I will create the polls and let you know when it is time to vote!

Concerning this issue, what is the easiest way to search the group bookshelf? I have not found a search shelf option, and have in the past employed two manual methods before nominating a title (both of which will eventually become too tedious):

1. Scroll the list and look (tends to not be accurate)

2. Display max on page and do a search in the browser

Ron, that is reallly I know to do. There is no search button for the group shelves. However, you could always pop over to Goodreads Feedback Group and suggest that as an upgrade!

Or some one will tell you if you nominate a previous read. haha!

Those are the only 2 ways I know! We are a team here!

I was wondering how I could have missed it but then saw that it was a group read for October of last year when I was still in my fog after having baby #2 on 9/11. Thanks for letting me know!
