100 Books Challenge discussion

I read this book with hihg hopes and I wasn't dissapointed. From when he was introduced I didn't like Frank Churchill at all! The Eltons really infuriate me, I didn't think I could feel so emotionsal about characters as Jane Austin has made me feel! I loved it!

it was good, but not one of the best Austen books at all. Half the time i wanted to get inside the book and slap Emma, and I'm not even a violent person. And yes, the Eltons infuriated me too, especially the wife ("Knightley, oh Knightley!!") and i was kind of sorry for Harriet-to have a matchmaker friend that is trying to match her!!

I know, she never spared a thought for Harriet's feelings!

I never liked Frank either, I always thought there was something off about him.

frank was the guy harriet liked right? he was kind of weird

No it was the guy who maried Jane Fairfax and people thought. The guy harriet liked was mr elton then that guy she married.

oh, i dont remember the story very well ;P
