I tried reading it but the art style wasn't that great, and the novel had a better story. The plot seemed rushed to me in the beginning of the series so I stopped. I think the novels are better.

I agree, I tried reading it once and compared to the novels(I have yet to finish the series) it was way too rushed.

is this the cirque du freak book? i read a few of the manga, which was definately better than the book (which was awful). The movie was good.

It is for all of them...mainly to book and manga though.

And I disagree the six volumes of the book I read were ten-times better then the manga.

I didn't really like the movie they took out too many important scenes from the series.

i liked Chris Masoglia from Plumm Summer (it's like my favorite movie), and my sister is obsessed with Josh Hutcherson, so that's why I saw it. Yeah, i do agree they left out too many important parts, and sometimes in the manga, they do leave out some good parts from the book.

I haven't either, I only hear bad reviews...well bad in the it is only worth renting reviews. But I have too many movies that come far before it.

I love Cirque du freak :D I think the manga is decent. Just...sometimes the perspective really ticks me off. It's like off and you can totally tell.

I do like the theme of Cirque du Freak. I really haven't seen any good gothic circus/freakshow books aside from this. It's pretty dang clever.
but yeah, the movie is definately not worth buying (but maybe now it's one of those $5 movies at Target).

I'd only spend $1...I'm that cheap, that's why I liked it here when used manga was on sale for $2.

It isn't. To make matters worse, a few weeks ago, I wore a shirt, most of it was hidden under my hoodie and a friend thought it said *push here* on my chest...my pervy response was "Yeah I totally want to be groped" and sense then this song has haunted me everyday at school...
