I THINK we should all record ourselves playing piano (merely audio i should think) and post it...i dunno where...but yeah. coolio idea, yeah? lol

*laughs uncomfortably* I don't think I have the technology to do that... sorry! :) Besides, I'm not all that good

i usually practice every day but the last two weeks were busy...

but still, laina! i'm sure you're better than you say. :D
me too, alice. i have this college writing class i have to go to every week and uuugh...it's sooo boring and super easy. the only reason i'm going is cuz my mom says i should. oh yeah. and those 4 college credits look good. XD lol

I practice everyday too , but i was busy this last 2 weeks too! COOL! & that recording idea is cool too ;)

my mom thinks maybe for my birthday she'll get me this class on writing children's books. i believe its done by email or something over the internet. I have a habit of starting really interesting plots and then running out of ideas after the first chapter or so.

does anybody like to compose music?
I want finale or however you spell it, because I usually get lazy and just write out the notes and just remember the rhythm and stuff.

hehe... i like just sitting at the piano and improvising. I've never had enough energy to write it out, so I never remember it. That's half the fun for me, though. Yesterday my brother (who has never played the piano) sat down wtih my older sister and the improvised together. tee-hee-hehe... it was quite.... cool sounding. : )

i do...but it's really rare when i keep what i write. other times it's just really crappy. :P
i like playing other people's work.

I like to emulate Keith Jarrett's style of playing (classical/jazz improv using various vamps) and perform spontaneous pieces while practising sheet music.

ooh, Keith Jarrett's style is soo unique,
i composed only once in my life, i was eight and i still remember the piece!! i still improvise, though, when im ALONE and i never got to write what i played. O.O

but only when there is absolutely nobody at home...except my dog. but you know. :P

Yeah! and you know, when i start playing piano, my lovely cat comes rushing and jumps on the chair i sit on, and she sleeps right next to me till i finish playing! i sometimes wonder if she truely loves music... :P ( i love her sooo much!)

lol! That's so cute! Unfortunately, my mom doesn't let our four cats inside the house. Two aren't neutered, two aren't spayed, so that's actually probably a good thing. However, I'm sure that Leo (boy) would undoubtedly decide he would like to be in my arms (piano being in the way, he'd have to sit on the piano).
