Enna exited her house, waving to her little sister. She shut the door, thinking of her sister and the reaping. She shook herself. Her sister didn't have anything to fear, she was only eleven. But Enna wasn't. Enna was the only person in her family in the age range of 12 to 18.

Enna leaned against a wall, staring at the cloudy sky. She hated the reaping, she hated the Capitol, and she hated the idea that she might become a Peacekeeper.

Truth shut the door loudly as she exited, not bothering to say good bye. She grinned, shaking her dark head as she walked down the road from her house.

Enna sighed, pushing the thought of Peacekeepers away and standing straight.
